Well If memory serves me well I got it on eBay years ago off a Japanese Record Seller plus he accepted my offer when I bought three of him or was it four?... I like to haggle with eBay sellers for the best deal... sometimes I get lucky when I am being pushy when it comes to multiples LPs from their shop. I have been always this way since I earned my first pay check when it comes to independent stores back in the 1980s till now. Too bad we can't do this with chain stores these days... such arrogance they have plus a cold heart in them.
I couldn't directly put my top three prince LPs but I have chosen number one for sure and it's 1999... number 2 for Parade and number 3 Lovesexy... the mixing of this record is unheard of in the 1980s plus it was million miles ahead of every record in 1988 then again I am being bias. If you can come across the vinyl Lovesexy... pick it up and play it loud... make sure it's the 1988 pressing rather than the 2009 edition... as in the picture disc. BTW I do like your choices.

I love the Prince discussion! It would be great, to acquire some of those Japanese pressings. Nice collection! I'll have to relisten to Lovesexy soon. .....some of my favorites: 1. 1999 2. Sign 'O The Times 3. Purple Rain / Around the World In a Day 4. N.E.W.S.

Like myself I love a prince discussion but only if is debated with a mature fashion and a lot of prince fans on their forums can be dick heads.
I love Japanese LPs and how the artwork is beautifully presented with the obi strips, inner sleeves remains intact and protective anti-static plastic inner sleeve to hold the record, plus a booklet printed in Japanese. Oh and most important of all... 140 Gram Pure Vinyl.
Sometimes it makes you think a recent boom of 180 Gram Vinyl is the real thing for good sounding LPs... I don't know what to think maybe a scam to entice fans to buy them. Most importantly it's all down to the cutting, pressing, etc. Example the Lenny Kravitz Strut 2 LP set (posted above) isn't pressed on 180 gram and it sounds really great but then again Lenny records music with analog. I prefer an LP to sound really good regardless what weight it is for which is my number one priority.
Please do when you get time to re-listen to Lovesexy LP and pay attention to the title track how the hell did prince come up with the idea of mixing the dialog between himself and cat like it was morphed between them... mind blowing.
