    Listening to some good old blues records this evening. Started out with "Cajun Blues, les Blues du Bayou", an amazing record made by Canray Fontenot and Alphones "Bois-Sec" Ardoin on the Melodeon/Biograph label. From there, four sides of "Lightnin'" by Lightnin' Hopkins (the 2 LP set on the Tomato label- hard to find but a treasure well worth seeking out) and finishing off with Bukka White's very excellent album, "Parchman Farm".

    This is a Harman Kardon 3390 Receiver. I had been eyeing it for awhile and my good friend had one and said good things. My wife ended up getting it for me for Christmas 2 years ago. I love it. It's the only Harman Kardon receiver from that line that has a dedicated phono jack I believe. So you don't need a preamp. I love it. I noticed a massive difference as soon as it was hooked up. It seems as though they aren't as available as they used to be so I don't know if they are being phased out. But again I can't praise it enough. I believe the retail on it is 399.99 at least in Canada.
