I’ve been advised to dive into this Makaya McCraven catalogue. Haven’t had time…. So many records so little time. Is this a good album to begin the journey?

Did they tease it by ending Set 1 with a cover of the Jack Irons version (cover) of Shine on You Crazy Diamond?
They must have had some good inside info as this was captured on October 8th and 9th, 2000 in San Fran. Jack Irons released his cover in 2004 lol.
Love Les and the Frog Brigade. Must have been an amazing show! I was living in a Canadian northern outpost in the 00’s and it was probably a 20hr. drive to the closest concert (Spokane).
Wow. Yes 20 hr drive is a little far! Likely did. My memory is fuzzy of the exact tunes. Lots of second hand smoke filling the room. The three people I was with had no idea of what they were experiencing. My old friend called me out of nowhere after that show and all I could do was talk about how awesome it was. He never called me again!!

I forgot about that one. My bro had tons of AC/DC. He gave his killer collection to a friend many moons ago. I contacted friend recently and told him not to throw them away.
