There's so many great unplugged performances... Neil, PJ, Nirvana,  AIC, 10,000 Maniacs,  REM, etc. But the biggest and the I believe the best was EC. Plus this record sounds amazing. One of my favorites.

Chuck Leveall on the piano is the X factor.  He's so great.

This is the best one.  Nirvana is prob 2nd. Even the CDs are lifelike.

Only Side A on my copy has noticeable surface noise. The Discogs reviews indicate this is not an isolated problem.

No, actually a NM early 70s German reissue. Found it thought what the hell, I need one of the reissues now to A/B.

Still.. at least it's all analog.  How does it sound? Maybe compare to the SACD?

I have this one. It has been years since I listened to it. I may have to give it a spin tomorrow.

I slept on it for way too long.  When I finally heard it, it was a revelation.

Horrible pressing of a great album. I have 1 of 300 exclusive frisbees. Surface noise and brickwalled. Just awful.
Avoid this 2020 RE. There are 700 clear splatter versions out there as well.

Love this album, hate this pressing.

The problem with that one is that one disc just leads to another. Before you know it, four hours have gone by and you have to return to your life with more shit to do. So worth it, though.

I agree.  It's too good.  It's my biggest criticism of it.

Yeah, that wasn’t too difficult to deduce after the artist and title were posted. You probably took my post a little too literally.
Really wasn’t anything more than a playful jab at myself being old and “unhip” because more often that not I have no idea what the records May30th is listening to because the artist and/or album title isn’t on the cover.
