How is the MOV Pressing? One of my all time favorite albums but have never purchased on vinyl because reviews haven't been that good; at least from what I've read.

Not very good. I rarely listen to it, it is just too noisy, just not a quite pressing. Most of the time the music overtakes it and it is ok, but there are some quieter moments where it's a little annoying. You can tell its a digital to vinyl mastering. I have never really been a fan of most MOV releases.

Waylon is on my turntable this week. Here is a little sample of Waylon in his prime.

I hope that a Pearl Jam fan or two will give this one a shot! Waylon & Willie were the game changers of their era, mid 70s, much like Pearl Jam and Nirvana were the game changers of the early 90s.. When I was four or five years old, my dad had an 8 Track Tape Player, in our basement & he had Waylon Jennings (Greatest Hits) and Johnny Cash, Elvis, The Beach Boys and Willie Nelson. And I would sit down there and listen to those all the time, long before Pearl Jam. And my love of Music begin.

I love Head and the Heart! Going to see them in Madison February 22. Haven't been to one of their shows yet...stoked about it.

Hey hey, you've got to be in the right mood for this one, but if you are, Red Headed Stranger is really good music!. You aren't going to do any slam dancing, or body surfing to this one. lol.
Cheers,. And if you want to get into Waylon, The Waylon Live LP is the best place to start. The LP is great, but they came out with a much better double disk extended version that has way more songs on it from the same 2 shows.
