Someone from the board has a pregnant girlfriend too and has 2 10C tickets.
Both girls will take the seats while the guys will go in the pit...

The guys getting squished in the front (yippee!!! Get to first row this time!) and the ladies sitting comfortably! Good plan! As long as the kids don't go to school, it's not too bad so you have several years ahead of you! It's once they get in the system that it's more difficult!

AAAARRRRRGGGGGHHHH again!!!!! I want to be in Paris, Marseilles, Italy, Prague... everywhere!

Next year... when they tour the UK :D:D:D

one "easy" show is Berlin, coz it's on a saturday... I'm hesitating...
Will try to get front row in paris and i'll send you the pictures...
See you next year in UK...

    Eddie close up.... :D:D:D:D:D

Wish I was still living in Brussels... so easy to 'hop over' to other countries. Doesn't have to involve plane, etc.

Have a great time in Paris (and maybe Berlin?)
  • Thinking of a last minute trip to Paris. Sept 11, Pearl Jam, Paris, it couldn't get any better. Who's got a pair of tickets they can't use?
    All together now...

    see above, post number 180....
Someone in UK has 2 tickets (in Manchester if I remember well)... you "just" have to find someone to bring the tickets for your from UK to Paris... There should someone coming from Manchester that would help you....

  • Hey guys,

Just wondered if anyone who has been to a concert at Bercy before knows if they have a curfew? Most shows in Canada have to be over by 11pm. I have to catch the last train back to CDG at midnight from Gare du Nord, and was just wondering if I am likely to make that, or if I should be prepared to take a cab?

    Thanks!

    be preparedd to take cab....
It's a pearl jam show, lasting more tahn 2 hours..
If the My morning jacket plays at 8.00 until 8.45, PJ will start at 9.10 or 9.15 and it will last until... midnight ??

wooo! i don't think there's a curfew at bercy. From bercy take the line 14 of the metro, get off at station "chatellet les halles" where you will take the line B of the RER (kind of metro) to CDG airport (but be sure the train you get in go to the airport, sometimes they stop before the airport).
Be careful, at night there are less trains and metros, it could take 1 hour to arrive at the airport... run!!!!!!!!!!!

My hotel room is at the airport... I'm there on a layover, as I'm a flight attendant... so it's paid for at the airport. Besides, my check out is at 6:30 am to head back to Toronto, so I have to get back after the show. It's going to be a busy couple of days! It's pretty easy to get to the airport and as long as I'm at Gare du Nord by midnight I'll be fine... otherwise a cab ride it is. Thanks!

Oh my god I'm sooooooo excited :D:D
  • the two tickets that were in manchester that i had for the paris gig are no longer available. had to do a quick drive across the yorkshire dales for them to go to another PJ fan. hope you all have a brilliant time. i'm very jealous but also glad that the tickets aren't sitting in my flat, taunting me to ditch all my commitments and go to paris!
  • anyone in PARIS wanting a single standing ticket for tonight?????????

  • did you all meet up before hand.....did not get there until 3..

stuck in crowd up eiffel tower...
hewhohatesfish..i take it the tickets worked out o.k for you after reading
your review...did not see you outside the bar afterwards...
i had opposite expierence i think...not very enjoyable
made it to first row but crushing was bullshit

wished i met a few more of you but the people i did meet were great.

some bastard robbed my posters also.....fucker

  • IrishJam, we were at the time & place but no one showed! Apart from some really lovely Irish peeps that we hung out with. I did ask if any of them were you but sadly not.

My experience was also bad, had to be pulled out from second row.

mike.legrand, I could NOT have negotiated the public transport system without your help. Thank you SO SO much, you're advise was fantastic. I hope we get to meet at another european show so I can buy you a drink to say THANK YOU! :D
  • hey irishjam
i waited around outside where i met you earlier but didnt see you guys, we headed off after bout 20mins into the pub i told you about the Lollipop.I was on the verge of falling asleep after 1 beer! yep finally understood the peeling of the teeshirt off the torso syndrome after the 2nd song!
i agree it was a bit rough but at the same time where i was standing about 20 people back from stones speaker, theres was a bit of room. i think things around mike/eddys area might have been a little bit more rough.
In 1 song we went from 20 people back to 5 but i have to admit i was expecting its is a rock gig and animal isn't the gentlest of songs! still the rest of the gig was great even if we all came out having lost 1st in weight!

i got talking to blanche for a while afterwards pity we all couldnt have gone for a pint.
there were a hell of a lot of travelling fans i saw very few french at all, it seemed that almost everyone spoke english with some varient of a dutch american or irish accent. with that in mind next time we'll be better organised(post pj party like dublin) and warn everyone alot earlier.
thanks again for the tickets couldnt have been there without ya the day went with no hastles whats so ever! all good:)
