It makes me feel warm and fuzzy all over knowing Sarah sees me as her brother
well, ok, maybe just a little fuzzy:

http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/20 ... hpt=hp_bn3

If your not willing to read the whole article (I can't for the the life of me understand why) here are a few highlights:

...it's time to stop "preaching to the choir" and instead evangelize a grass-roots, anti-Washington message to all Americans, even those who disagree with the right.
"They're not our enemies. They're our sisters and our brothers."

Take, for example, an anecdote about her husband buying her a rifle rack for Christmas, while she bought him a gun.
"This go-around, he's got the rifle, I've got the rack," she said.

She spurred another wave of cheers and applause while pausing to take a sip from a Big Gulp, a not-so-veiled swipe at New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg's push against large sugary drinks. "We're cool. Shoot, it's just pop with low calorie ice cubes in it. I hope that's OK."

and this:

"Get over yourself," she said. "It's not about you."

Amen, Sister Sarah.

"We're not here to re-brand a party, we're here to rebuild a country," she said. "We're here to restore America and the rest is just theatrics. "

More like the whole is just theatrics. She's a piece of work. :fp:

We're all giddy with excitement about her upcoming Christmas book.

She does know how to make a buck, though. I didn't know spewing ignorance could be so financially rewarding. (well, I suppose it's not the first time)

  • Seeing her walk on stage with that look on her face of "here's the one audience left willing to cheer for my whining and vaguely racist jokes about Obama." It was... interesting. She looked like the prom queen speaking at the dinner thrown for the 10 year high school reunion. One only attended by the people who really wanted to go back because it was all they had left to look forward to.

Wearing the Skank-Tastic-Hip-Hugger-Big-Bell-Bottom Jeans, those Stevie Nicks Platform clogs, that low-cut MILF shirt and that Black Drag Queen wig. WHY does nobody call her on that wig? I've seen more realistic looking hair on Rand Paul.

Botox'd so much she's starting to look like Madam the puppet.

Making jokes about her tits. Very "motherly."

(although to be fair, she's the mother of Bristol Palin... the slutty, drunken, whorish, chubby teen mother and abstinence advocate. Who rides mechanical bulls in west hollywood while her baby waits in a production van outside. So I guess the the apple doesn't fall far from the whore house.)

You can tell that Sarah is only half-pleased with her lot in life. Yeah, she quickly left public office when she realized it required actual work and brains - two things lacking in the Palin family - and cashed in on her success. The racist white lower-middle class tards that feared what a black president meant somehow found solace in her dumb-ass turds of wisdom and mortgaged their houses to buy anything with a photoshopped picture of her smirk on it.

But Sarah is a bitter, bitter woman. She was someone who always got what she wanted just by being a vicious, backstabbing bitch. Getting thrown out of college after college for not showing up to class (apparently), she still managed to become governor of a state by threatening the rivals and bribing anyone else she could. Allegedly.

But a black man from a poor family with an absent father. The kind of person she'd usually assume was the guy there to carry her bags.

HE beat her in an election and worse... made her look like a total fool (truth me known, she did that last part, by opening her mouth and demonstrating what a complete half-wit she is). And she's never gotten over that.

    I didn't mention politics.

Just an entitled woman who stokes the fears of a fading white middle class so she can get what money they have left.

And I called her daughter a slut and a whore and pointed out that the two of them are abysmal mothers who exploit their kids.

But didn't really talk about politics. Because Sarah didn't really, either.

Sarah is an absolute idiot. It is scary to me that she actually appeals to anyone. But at the same time, I still have enough faith to believe that the Moron will never get as close to actually affecting government as she's already been.... But that is just dumb blind faith I guess. You never know when it comes to American politics!

You are Canadian. It does not really matter what you think. You do not vote. You are not a tax payer.
You are not a United States citizen. I'm sorry. I get mean. When it comes to U.S.A. politics you seriously don't have any opinions that count in that way.

People that legally vote barely have a chance.

Pay MY Taxes and we can talk.. but I'm an idiot.

Quit the Sarah H8. Obama gives me nightmares. When I wake up, I have to remind myself it's really happening.

I need to stay off the train and go back to the porch.

But it's so bold and ruthless for any one to say her daughter is a whore. That is just uncouth and crass.
Have you never met a teenager that was unmarried with a child? At least respect the Palin's as Humans.

Amidst the ocean of bullshit all around, gotta say I agree with this. It strikes me as...strange...how some labels are OK when applied to a certain person or group but verboten when it comes to others.

Bristol Palin is not "a group."

I did not call all single mothers "a whore." I call Bristol Palin a whore. Cuz she is.

who had her baby... Dragged it out on a publicity campaign, posed in a graduation cap and gown holding it for her $200,000 people magazine article, exploited it on not one but THREE reality shows, did a condom commercial with The Situation and then went on a preachy abstinence speaking tour. Bristol Palin who rails against tax waste on things like health care for single mothers but took a quarter of a million dollars in tax money to pay for her reality show.

The reality show where she went to west Hollywood to ride a mechanical bull and pick fights with the locals for drama.

Exploiting her baby at every chance, cashing in on her status as "famous pregnant teenager who scolds teenagers for having sex."

I've met plenty of single mothers. But none who use their baby to make millions while attacking other single others a lazy moochers.

I find your nightmares about Obama to be absurd. He's been president for fours years and the Gestapo hasn't kicked in your door and taken your guns yet. But the stock market is doing well and unemployment stopped its free fall. What happens in these nightmares you have? :fp:

It is definitely unnecessary to call someone who had a baby young and out of wedlock a whore. Or for doing whatever it is she does with her kid. Those decisions are hers to make, and as far as I know, she's not abusing him.
However, there is a LOT of hypocrisy on Palin's part that is highlighted because of that situation, and I think that's why people jump all over it.

  • You don't think hauling your baby out to grow up under a microscope, teach it to say "shut up, faggot" and post the video on the Internet (while you giggle in the background), and exploit it at every chance in abuse?

Well, lets see what Octomon's and Jon and Kate's kids have to say once their tell-all books come out.

No, it's not abuse. They're not decisions I would make, but it's not abuse either, and the law agrees. Just because I don't agree with other parents' parenting decisions doesn't make those decisions abusive. Also, I think that she loves her kid, and that the media does a fine job of making her look like a much worse mother than she really is.

I'm not sure "abuse" is quite the right word here (although I get it) but hauling the kids out in public as a political move- I would say that is at least exploitative and twisted- no that SP is the first to do that, of course.

Of course not... And honestly, I don't think there is anything wrong with having your kids come along to political events with you. It's certainly not anything any of us are used to, but to me it just seems like an unusual but not harmful experience for children. It probably affords them some interesting insights and learning opportunities. Also, to assume that politicians just "haul them out in public as a political move", as though they don't even love them, but simply see them as political tools is really unfair and inaccurate. Yes, their family is part of of their political careers. So what? A lot of families participate in their parents'/spouses' careers, because their careers are a huge part of their life. I do not see the harm in most cases. It's a different life, but I do not think that means it's a harmful one. Do people think that Obama's children are being abused?? I've certainly never heard anyone say that. And they seem like very well-adjusted, nice children with extraordinary lives.

I really don't care about the Palins, they've shown the country who they are and their limelight is over (Thank Bob). What I find desperate is that Sarah lacks the reality to understand that her time is well over.
