they have triple rooms for 82 Euros per night, which is only a few $ more than some of the hostels...

Backpackers-Dusseldorf is where a bunch of us ex-ETBers are going to be staying.. find the multinational group party and you'll find us...by the look of it, the hotel might be full of jammers anyway

so Binaural, what's the latest news? You were talking about organizing a set of rooms for others to book at a certain hotel/hostel/whatever so we could all jam out on the same floor or something.

I actually booked a room at this hotel for this trip. Never been to Germany before, so this should be great! Thanks for the heads up on the hotel. Not too pricey.
Realized I may have made my reservations a bit too soon w/o enough research. I'm finding an interesting selection of hostels/low-budget hotels in Dusseldorf. Given that this is a party town, I'm thinking I'll want to stay within walking distance from Alstadt or else I could lose myself on the streets. I'll give it some more research.
