Right, for all the ten clubbers and non ten clubbers hitting this show hows about staying in the same hostel? Its a way of meeting great Pj fans and generally being a bit safer because you'll be with decent people. Any suggestions for the hostel? The idea is that it will be affordable and easy to get to and from.
Anyone who wants their name down on a list that I'll put on this post should PM ME!

  • I'm definitely interested. Let me know which hostel/hotel you pick out. Maybe we can book a 4-person room or something for sake of cost efficiency? Feel free to pm me to discuss.
  • Here I am...I can share the rooms too in hostel, I will come from London show and I need a place to crash in Dusseldorf...so let's all meet in a hostel.
    That is good idea :)

It says 10 mins away from the Altstadt. Is that the same thing as the LTU Arena where PJ are playing?

EDIT - I just checked and realised that 'alstadt' is 'old town', not the arena lol!
Does anyone know how close that hostel is?

Maybe I will join you too. I am buying 4 tickets to Dusseldorf tomorrow and I just have to talk to the lads. How much is it?

Im forgetting the name of the hotel, bu there is a hotel only a fewminutes walk from the Arena. I stayed there when I saw Arsenal at the football stadium and at the World Cup last summer. The football stadium is only a few minutes walk from the Arena. For those who went to the World Cup, it's where the Fan Park was. I think we paid something like €70 for a twin including breakfast? So thats about £20 per person per night. When you take into account taxi and managing to find a taxi after the gig........possibly the hotel is a consideration. Im trying to find the name of the damm place now!!

    It's ok i just found it, http://www.mapquest.com

But its not working for me. I'm trying to get directions from hotel-venue for Dusseldorf and Copenhagen too but it's not recognising the addresses.

If people are looking for convenience above all else, there's nothing better than the hotel at the actual arena, I guess.

Me, I just don't have that much in my budget. The Australia-Europe flight is killing me already.

Oh, I did a bit more research than that. Look up 'am staad' and 'Fuerstenwall' and you should get what I got.

    Hi all,

just as an information for all Dusseldorf goers:
the best way to get to the LTU arena from Dusseldorf main station or Altstadt (old town) is the underground. The station in the Altstadt is called "Heinrich-Heine-Allee" and it's the line U78 which will easily take you to the arena.

    Thank you!

it's all about it being affordable for me! :D so yeah, a hostel would most likely do it. all I really need is a place to leave my stuff to and to sleep in so I'm not too fussy. :):D:D

Ok, how would you all feel about maybe waiting until the start of March to book this? I can't book until then because my card is maxed out form flights and other hostels so I need to wait until I get paid. Unless some want to book now.
    :)

I went on an accommodation booking rampage and secured my 2 nights at that hostel I listed for 2 nights from 20/6.

Doesn't seem like there's too many options in Düsseldorf.
