Australia and NZ tour rumours going around Part 2 (No Bullshit)

Im going to see what tickets i can get for this 3rd show, i really shouldnt go, but im in melbourne last and its on the way backup to townsville.

It seems like a lot of people wont go to this one, so i might have a better chance of getting near the front. also there was no presale. Actaully I think i better purposely sleep in so i dont get tempted!

played a half full show and it was a screamer!
ed even mentions on the boot something along of the lines of "we got the place all to ourselves".

I don't really have much of an opinion about it, but it does have a few positive points

1) It's on a Saturday, so travelling to and from the show would be easier as it's
most people don't have to work/go to school/uni that day or the next day
2) It's further on in the uni exam period so most students' exams would already
be over, unlike Sydney 1 & 2

This really concerns me this third one. Im going for sure and wanna get good tiks as Im worried about the previous two Sydney concerts and timing of exams. Worst case scenario is I may have to forgo one of the first lot (hopefully not 10c nite) and go dead sober to the other so Im treating the 3rd as my BIG ONE.

But that being said I cant see how in the world they'll sell it out. Reckon the dancefloor area will be full of legit fans but the rest....all walks of life. Slowly closer to the date theyll get rid of some nose bleeds but theres nothing worse than a half full venue - depressing to me!

Very interesting move. Possibilty they can move venues at a later date???

I think it will be us diehards that fill most of the floor. I also think maybe closer to the date, the radio competitions will gear up and get rid of a bunch of the seats in the stands, and maybe industry type will get freebies also. I think it will be up to us real fans to make lots of noise.

I noticed today at JB that there is a new pressing of the Avo album out now, it is repinted correctly so the package folds up and closes properly, so if the 1st run of the album shits you cause it doesn't close properly you can now by one that will, and help PJ's sales a bit.

Plus JB has all the old PJ albums for $10, that includes the new releases of Ten and Vs that are printed to look like a vinyl instead of a cd. not a bad steal if you don't happen to have any of the older albums(way don't you have some of the older albums hey?)

not sure f they can... I think there is casual fans at every gig let alone a PJ one seeing the tour is confusingly supported/promoted by Triple M once again. There will be a load of casual fans just through MMM. Its probably the same in the states aswell.

my younger brother who has copied copies of PJ albums from me went in Saturday and bought a whole heap for $10.00... They must be cleaning up at JB.

Seems like u can't do anything in Soccer physically and it frustrates me because I'm used to AFL. Everytime the Aussie players tried ot tackle the South Americans they got fouled. Ridiculous rules.
