I've just woken up :o I was so cold this morning and a bit tired, I thought "Feck house work....I'm gonna go lay in my warm bed and Glenn can deal with the kids!" :D So I did....and fell asleep.

Got your message Stella and am still trying to interpret it
Glad Sam was gentle with ya ;) He IS a sweet, gentle kinda guy, though....so I knew he would be :-)
What time did you call it a night? I forgot you had to work today

It sounds like he's having a fun day today, up at the Barossa :D

I found this a good read.

about Seattle's Sub Pop record label, and one of their lesser known bands:

I watched a travel show on Foxtel last weekend and the whole show was dedicated to Seattle. I have to admit, I didn't really know alot about Seattle, besides what I've read and seen re; the music scene. For some reason, I'd always pictured it as this dank, drizzly little city.....How wrong was I!!!! It looks fantastic and it's now on my list of places I want to visit.

You've been there, haven't you, fishy? How long were you there for and did you like it?

yeah i've been there. spent about 9 days there. it's a fucking awesome city. although the week we were there they had the infamous "Battle Of Seattle" cause the World Trade Organisation was in town.

the place got smashed up like you wouldn't believe, riot cops everywhere, shooting tear gas. fun time to be a tourist in seattle.

we stayed in what is called the U district cause it's where the University of Washington is. it's a real nice area, with nice big parks and gardens and such. we only really spent about 2 days in the downtown area due to the riots and just did all the tourist things like ride the monorail to the space needle and go shopping and such. and go to Pike Place markets ect.

and it was round Xmas time too and americans go ape shit for Xmas with decos and all that. you might think the movie Elf, and Christmas Vacation are jokes, but they're not, ameicans are Christmas crazy.

tried to squeeze Seattle in the second time i went with the missus, but we just didn't have the time.

UNREAL!!!! Yeah after watching that show, I really want to go there. The Monorail, Space Needle and Markets are a MUST!!
What a shame the riots were happening :( One of the places they went to (in the show) was a club....I've forgotten the name at this minute.....I'd know it if I heard it - Croc or something. The woman that owns it bought it JUST before the grunge movement all happened  Looked like a cool place to hang out.
I'd also want to do the canals, where they have the loches (or whatever their called - sorry, still half asleep). There's just soooo much to do and see there! .....and then fantastic 24 hour clubs n pubs with bands playing!!!! What more could ya want on a holiday?! :D

....and yeah I know about the US and Chrissy....Canada's the same.....AWESOME!!!!

EDIT: Just read that the Croc closed down last year.

Sorry, had to go bath the midget.

i so want to go back to Seattle, and a whole heap of other places in U.S/Canada that i've been to before, and some i haven't been. i just really love it.

i've never really wanted to go to Europe or anything. like the U.K. has never interested me. but i want to go to the really old cities in Italy like Rome, Bologna. and places like that. oh yeah and i want to go to Prague. And for some reason i want to go to Hong Kong, but i wouldn't go there without someone who could speak the language, guess it's good incentive to learn ;)

but yeah, now that one of bianca's best friends has moved to France to live, i think she wants to go next year.

    Just a quick hello :)

Sitting at Gloria Jeans, laptop in tow, with a caramelatte, and taking advantage of the free broadband :)

Some rodent has chewed through the telephone wire at my house so I've been without internet access since Thursday
Will be back full time on Tuesday :)
