I want In My Tree! and Red Mos.
I've heard a few live....but I REALLY need RM, Lukin, Who You Are, In My Tree, Smile, Sometimes, Off He Goes and Present Tense next tour!!! Not asking for much, eh
I'd love to hear I'm Open too....but that's not really a must...not really a 'live' song......would be good at an EV solo gig type situation0 -
I'm off to take Sooky Boy for a walk down to the shops. That's my nickname for one of the poodles. He's such a sook and is so attached to me ... the poor little thing.Sydney, Australia - March 12, 1998; Sydney, Australia - February 14, 2003; Sydney, Australia - November 8, 2006; Sydney, Australia - November 25, 2006; Brisbane, Australia - November, 2009; Gold Coast, Australia - January, 2014, Gold Coast, Australia - November 20240

In My Tree has some strange old memories for me.
In my last semester of uni I tackled 4 subjects (full-time load) whilst working full time:
Wills & Estates - medium
Some mgmt thing - easy
Advanced Taxation - no comment
Advanced Financial Reporting - hard
I had 4 exams basically within a week and I was so stressed and tired. Added to that I thought Id failed Adv Tax so stressed for 4 weeks and Id already enrolled and paid CPA fees.
My oldies were away and I was house sitting. Got my results and passed - uni done!!!!! I whacked on Live @ the Garden and danced around their loungeroom singing at the top of my lungs.
In my Tree came on and I fuckin bawled my eyes out. Couldnt help it, couldnt stop it, didnt want to. BIGGEST stress relief of my life - it just felt so good.
Never thought Id ever get that emotional again. Until my mate passed away the other week. I left a puddle on his tiled floor the size of a dinner plate. Cleaned myself up, looked up saw his work boots, went again!.
So yeah......its a thinking song for me that oneI'll ride the wave where it takes me.0 -

I'll say it again....PJ have the rare ability to evoke a myriad of emotions that no-one else can. It's such a relief to be able to come here and share these things with a group of mates who 'GET IT"!!
I'm being a big sook from reading your post (fecken hopeless!), so going to brave to cold and have another ciggy until I stop blubberin'.
