    Time to go Big Brother

    July 13, 2008 - 6:08PM
The Ten Network's reality TV flagship Big Brother has been axed after eight years, according to industry rumours.

Fan websites for the show are also carrying reports the current series on Ten will be the last.

One email sent to the Herald carried the headline "Big Brother boned", referring to the industry's buzz word for sacking, coined into popular use by Nine's former CEO Eddie McGuire.

Another claimed production staff working on the show had been told Ten were not renewing the series.

A number of fan websites are carrying reports that the series will not be renewed, and that Ten will make an announcement later tonight.

I'm gonna have to take up religion. I think this week there mightn't be a shortage of people looking to convert me.
