    Good Mornin' everyone :)

Brendan?? How long til you get your results? Hope you don't have to wait too long and that you're pleasantly surprised!

Not till mid June unfortunately. Ive made a pact - if I fail both subjects Im gonna give it up and start the CA instead. I just cant handle multiple choice questions
I'll ride the wave where it takes me.

Yeah very long. Understandable tho - there were people that sat it in a shit load of countries from Hong Kong to London so there'd be a hell of a load of people that did it

Had MYOB training last night. Was enjoyable. Was gonna have a night in tonight but just looked at the TV guide and there is nothing on so may hit the pub instead

    100%

I knew the content but just spent so much time deciding between two alternative answers. Id rather written answers. If I fail both Im happy to forgo the previous subject and switch across.

One of the guys the works with us is CA so Ive got no problem with the mentor program

    :(
That's a shame, Brendan......you wouldn't even give it one more attempt?
Like you said previously....count the first go as a practice shot. Would be a shame for all that hard work to go down the drain without giving it one more go :)

Fair enough. As we were saying on Friday night, it does suck when the answers to multiple choice go something like this:

    a) Correct
    b) Correct, but not as correct as "a"
    c) Correct, but not as correct as "a"
    d) Correct, but not as correct as "a"

    :(

Its not really going down the drain. Id be doing exactly the same subjects in the CA so the prior learning will help either way. Would just mean that Id have to sit one extra exam (which I already passed in CPA so should have no problems).

I wouldnt be losing much at all and if it meant Id be more comfortable in the exams then its totally worth it.

Theres no worse feeling when you know you failed something because of the format. The knowledge would simply be 'moved'

    No biggy

Quote of the day has to go to a certain Mr David Beckham.

"My parents have been there for me ever since I was about 7"

Only negative is the CA doesnt have a financial planning/super component which I really wanna do.

Anyhoo I deal with it later - at the mo I got 3 months off. Dont know what to do with myself. Considering going to learn a language with a friend a coupla nights a week for something to do. Maybe Spanish so I can pick up some hot chicks. Or maybe a PT course so I can earn some extra cashola on the side and keep fit. Another option is do some gratis consulting for a charity/club

    Ill be bored without study

CPA is for pussies anyway! :p;):D

Multiple choice for certain subjects absolutely SUCKS! Give me written answers any day. Even if you don't know the whole answer, you can usually write enough down to get part marks...with multiple choice, if you don't know the answer, you're fucked!

Did you only have two options? A or B?

Yeah I'll watching Underbelly tonight .. I've enjoyed it. I think I might have to buy the DVD for Nip/Tuck cause I don't think it's coming back. Channel 9 are hopeless.
