Might be time to give "Pup" a go. I reckon Ponting has switched off since he regained the Ashes last year and won the ICC World Cup. He's done what he set out to do and now he hasn't got any motivation.

correct, he should have retired before Gilly.

    Night peeps.

yep....we had the same with our nectarine and locut trees :( such a waste! And the flowers on the orange tree dropped off before turning to fruit

but still I'd take this great weather over a wet summer....we get waaaaaay too much rain in Winter! I'm well and truly over it by the end of Winter!

that's so sad.. :( our nectarines faired ok, they were under shade though..

does it rain much winter time at the place you plan to move to later in the year? will this be your last crazy winter?? i can't remember taking an umbrella to uni/work at all last year

NOWHERE here rains as much as it does in Dwellingup.....I get sick of the same thing every night on the weather report
"and once again Dwellingup had the highest raifall for the state"
    and
"and once again Dwellingup had the lowest minimum in the state"

I was told once why, but can't really remember the exact reason (didn't really give a shit) something to do with our position -high above sea level, in a bit of a valley, in a forrest etc; whatever - I hate Winter here.

We're moving to the coast, so won't be anywhere near as cold and just normal rainfall for WA.

yeah...going shopping on Thursday while MTG's at Kindy :) will stock up then....it definitely made a difference.

I don't MIND tea....but tea has a lot of caffein too. I love my coffee too much, I'm afraid tea just wouldn't cut it.

I much prefer the "still" cold that comes with living inland than the icy, stinging, cold winds that blow in off the ocean
