I just remember coming home on the train from Newcastle and starring out the window the whole time, grin on my face thinking "it dont get any better than that and Im definitely getting this feeling again next tour, and getting it more often"
I aint going back on those words. Wooord
Yeahhhh....I say they can wait now until I get to 38 and I'm infertile and kicking myself for trading one last kid for one last Pearl Jam tour.
I'll just go pregnant....and really cramp everyone's style! ha ha★ 1995 - Brisbane ★ 1998 - Brisbane ★ 2003 - Brisbane ★ 2006 - Brisbane ★

I figure we got at least 20 months to wait. So im gonna put $20 bucks a week into my seperate account and start from this week. Should accumulate 2000 plus my refund. Thats a good start I reckon.
Dont know if Ill do the whole tour - probably skip Melb
I started my "Jam-Jar" pretty much as soon as the last tour finished. I have dipped into it a couple of times though :( for good reasons though
I'm aiming to have AT LEAST $5000 saved for the next tour (hopefully more) and then have the credit card on hand if needed :eek:0 -

I have to do 2005, 2006 AND 2007.
And to top it all off, I've LOST all my information for 2005!!! I've got no idea what to do so I'm just burying my head in the sand for another year! ha ha★ 1995 - Brisbane ★ 1998 - Brisbane ★ 2003 - Brisbane ★ 2006 - Brisbane ★

We were broke last tour - it sucked :(
With us buying land and moving and building at the end of the year.....I have to make sure I've got some money kept aside for this tour!!0 -
ozsmalltowngirl wrote:Geez....I have no idea what mine are named??? They're made of....ummmm? I think it's metal inside (dunno) and it's like a rubbery, silicone on the outside???
Ok -- you've got the silicone ones. That's the best material to get apparently -- very hygenic for long term use and easy to clean. I saw metal ones but I thought that would be a bit weird. I've been researching!★ 1995 - Brisbane ★ 1998 - Brisbane ★ 2003 - Brisbane ★ 2006 - Brisbane ★

You might fall pregnant straight away, or it could take months, even years.
I missed a tour cuz I was pregnant - no way on earth was my Obstetrician going to let me go :(0 -

Ive got a mate (and client) who is in partnership in a sucessful little painting business. His partner kept avoiding doing his returns for years and last week lodged 4 years straight. Of course he hadnt paid any PAYG either now he has been hit up with over 30K bill.
He is 95% sure he is gonna declare himself bankrupt hence my mate has basically just received a kick Sqar to the nuts and the partnership is doomed. Very unfair.
Whilst its my job to save and minimise tax - those who just think thay dont have to pay it just baffle me. Im not pointing at you as I know your background/knowledge but it just blows me away - not to mention the ones who have such attitude are genera not auusie and constanly bitch about having to do so. Dont like the country - FUCK OFFI'll ride the wave where it takes me.0 -

HAHAHAHAHAHA
How fuggin ironic is that - talking about tax..
We got a new client the other day who is a high income earner and her company grosses about a mil in sales. She was unhappy with her last accountant (coz he always took so long to respond to her calls) and came to up to set up a superfund, Had a look at her accounts whilst here and said 'think there's some room for improvement".
I said to the old man "check out the motor vehicle expenses in the company. I reckon it may be better off paying her a MV allowance. Can you check it out"
We just saved her over $11,000 in tax. We billed her $2200 (including about 300 extra for our good deed) when the last gut billed her $3000. She just walked through the door 20 seconds after my last post and gave the old man $1500 cash - $500 is now in my wallet.
The Pearl Jam 2009 Tour Trust has got off to an early start. Too funnyI'll ride the wave where it takes me.0 -
