    Such a shame. Especially as tickets to that show were only $60
    You could've flown to Newie and caught the train to Sydney and back

    Yeah shouldve stayed in Melb for the Friday night then flew to Syd sat then to Newcastle on the Sunday....
    Instead of flying to Hobart on the Friday then flying to Melb on the Sunday then to Newcastle....

    Great!! Last night I had a few drinks and was watching youtube and this error message came up and I just clicked OK not thinking anything of it. Shut the comp down and went to bed, woke up this morning -- NO fucking SOUND is coming out of my speakers OR the earphones...and I can't for the life of me remember what the error message said! :(

    Just got home from work and found out that my Pop is dying in hospital with cancer.
    He hurt his back a couple of weeks ago and got admitted but has slowly deteriorated. They ran some tests and found out that he has cancer in his bones which is a death sentence.
    Mum's flying back to Wales next week to be with him but I can't afford to go so I'll have to say goodbye to him over the phone. It's gonna be the hardest phone call I'll ever have to make but at least I'll get a chance to tell him thank you for everything he's done for me in my life, which I suppose I should be grateful for because not many people get a chance to even do that

    sorry rob, thats a hard thing for you, especially since he's o/s - but as you said you get the chance to say something to him and as hard as that will be for you at the time, its going to be something your going to look back on with better memories. Suz's idea of a dvd is good, because that'll be nice for him.

    cancer is a monster theres no doubt.

    Hey all, hows your weekend going??
    Found out last night that im not as young as I used to be and that when you wear a jumper and jeans to a nightclub...everyone stares at you :( Atleast I was warm and not freezing my tits off like the other girls in there!!

    Rob, so sorry, my thoughts are with you...Suz has a great idea with that DVD...even you may b e able to write him a letter for him to be laid to rest with...we did that with my Grandad...

    Our family did a similar thing b4 my Uncle passed away in the UK in 1984.
    All of his family lived here and we were unable to travel that far.
    Video recorders hadnt been around that long, my brother rented one, thinking back it was massive about the size of a ghetto blaster....
    We all did messages for him.........It was pretty sad doing it...But he got to see us.......He was very happy when he received it.....U just have to make sure that its compatible with the their vid/dvd player..........:)

    Another thought is u could do a webchat using msn or yahoo if he had access to a laptop or pc....even if he didnt have a webcam he could still see u ..:)

    Its a massive poster that I grabbed from our local video store...I actually got 3 but gave one to Stella....its got Emile Hirsch on the bus....its really cool...weve got ours in our kitchen.,..and its got Eddie Vedder in the credits on the bottom....its just collecting dust at my place...so whoever wants it can just let me know :)

    Ohhhhh....I wasn't a big fan of the movie :o Love the album though. It's probably better going to someone else who loved the movie! Thanks anyway!! :D
