I always think of you and laugh whenever I'm watching South Park now! Makes it even funnier!
I was only saying to Rob the other night that I expect you 2 to carry on the forensic investigations when you go back in February
Nah trust me it was funny - that went on for about 15 minutes. Pissed, stoned or sober!I'll ride the wave where it takes me.0 -

15 minutes.....felt like so much longer.....and that was just that one incedent with the security guy........there were heaps of things before that, that I totally lost it over. I'd forgotten you and Glenn were smoking.....maybe I'd been passive smoking as well as boozing? LOL!!0 -
DonJon wrote:Wish we still were. Ive seen so many vids of that night and tried so hard to spot myself in the crowd. The closest I got was seeing a mate Kath next to me in a red top during RITFW - for a nanosecend0

And it all started from me making a single comment about him being a terrorist.

I was proud to be a Sydneysider that night.
Went to the Newport Arms for lunch yesterday.. made me realise how much I miss the northern beaches. Pymble is for old wealthy pretentious people and families ... Pfft. Hey do you know anyone who's been for a drink at the new Sands Hotel in Narrabeen? It looks a bit RSLish and the beer garden facing the beach is really small.Sydney, Australia - March 12, 1998; Sydney, Australia - February 14, 2003; Sydney, Australia - November 8, 2006; Sydney, Australia - November 25, 2006; Brisbane, Australia - November, 2009; Gold Coast, Australia - January, 2014, Gold Coast, Australia - November 20240 -

Dude I popped in there on friday night. So tragic they closed the old beer garden - that was an institution that place.
They are trying to weed out the workers/surfies clientele. Wont happen - give it 6 months and the joint will be full of boardies and thongs again. Thats just Narrabeen. Nothing better than walking across the road, dumping your board, throwing a tshirt on and having a cold one. TRAGIC
Very sterile and $5 beers. They are trying to market it as an exclusive hotel/accom. It Narrabeen for fucks sakeI'll ride the wave where it takes me.0 -

Yeah throw rocks at the house and then we'll have to move out so the landlord can repair it. The whole upper north shore is boring. You walk the streets and hardly ever see anyone because everyone is inside their huge ancient old houses hidden by trees and hedges with a pool and tennis court out the back. :rolleyes:Sydney, Australia - March 12, 1998; Sydney, Australia - February 14, 2003; Sydney, Australia - November 8, 2006; Sydney, Australia - November 25, 2006; Brisbane, Australia - November, 2009; Gold Coast, Australia - January, 2014, Gold Coast, Australia - November 20240 -

I think they're gonna knock the old pub down and build apartments there too. The developers have been trying to get their hands on it for years.. and finally won, the arseholes. Hey could they? Apparently Midnight Oil played their first gigs there in the 1970s. I hope the old clientele take over the place.Sydney, Australia - March 12, 1998; Sydney, Australia - February 14, 2003; Sydney, Australia - November 8, 2006; Sydney, Australia - November 25, 2006; Brisbane, Australia - November, 2009; Gold Coast, Australia - January, 2014, Gold Coast, Australia - November 20240 -

No tennis court or pool at my place ... I think we're renting the worst house in the street. The only good thing about the house is that it's perfect for the two dogs with a big backyard and a nice park nearby for them to walk and poop in.. I try and make sure they do it on people's nature strips though..Sydney, Australia - March 12, 1998; Sydney, Australia - February 14, 2003; Sydney, Australia - November 8, 2006; Sydney, Australia - November 25, 2006; Brisbane, Australia - November, 2009; Gold Coast, Australia - January, 2014, Gold Coast, Australia - November 20240 -

Our front and back lawns need mowing, plus the garden needs weeding after all the rain.
