this is shaping up - powderfinger, tequila overload (rob especially so), buskers, un-co dancing which i refuse to partake in but no doubt will provide a running commentry on, and what ... we draw straws to see who crashes on who's floor???
who brings the camera to gain the blackmail material???
Finally just got through to Glenn....he only just woke up  Him and the guys celebrated his birthday last night - he's not well at all LOL!!! I told him he's too old to be carrying on like that now
I asked him about Sydney and he's very keen, but not sure about getting time off work for it, cuz it'll muck up his next break, which he needs to keep as he's coming back for his Dad's 70th birthday bash. He's gonna ask though
I also looked into flights and it would work out cheaper for me to fly to Sydney and then fly to Perth???
Gold Coast - Sydney = $55
Sydney - Perth = $189
Gold Coast - Perth (have to go via Sydney) = $395
WTF!!!
STUART!!!!???? Have you still got 2 x spare tickets for Powderfinger for the 11th??
Teehee: Now, confession time. I like Live. well.. i used to. I love Secret Samadhi and the two cds before that.. i guess i still feel a bit attached to that error, and therefore can forgive them of the later cruddier stuff. Sometimes I post on their discussion board.
HowEVER: Someone posted up that they wouldn't ever dream of comparing Vedders voice to Ed K's voice, because that would be a crime and ED K would clearly win.
I'm not so sure I can go back to their little discussion community again. Of course, I told them all they were right, there is no comparison. hahaha Vedders voice is clearly stronger and better. I'm waiting on the fallout, they don't seem to be very nice people over there.

The end.
I LOVE Live!! Same though...only their earlier stuff.....I also think Ed is HOT
I think Ed is hot too, well he was before he got all arrogant like and started strutting around on stage without a shirt and being all pretty boy like.
I had a good weekend. The big boss from Sydney was up to overlook the market yesterday (he has a bit of a rep for being a horribly mean man), but everything went ok. Had a lovely public holiday! first day off in about 6 weeks.
I know you weren't talking to me Mr Sam... but my dinner is here and have to go , so thought i'd share before i leave. I met Ed and Chad Gracey in Brisbane in 2001. Pretty lovely people
I met him after they played the Civic Theatre here in Newie on their Greatest Hits Tour
They ALWAYS play Newcastle. They haven't skipped here since 1996

Ed's always done the no shirt thing (mmm mmm ) I remember the first footage I ever saw of them.....I think it was Woodstock?? , and he had no shirt on
I've never seen him strutting around like a pretty boy....link please
Every time I've seen him on something where he either talks during a show or is being interviewed, he seems like such a genuinely nice guy.

DEVELOPERS are working on a pole-dancing game for Nintendo's Wii console - but insist it's not about sleaze.
British-owned Peekaboo Pole Dancing is in talks to develop the game with spokesman Simon Kay saying: “It will be about fun and exercise for a new generation.”
Racy British tabloid The Sun reveals the game may even come with an interactive pole.
Mr Kay added: “With classes springing up in gyms across Europe and the US, the number of women seeking the body-sculpting and fat-burning effects of this aerobic form of exercise has never been greater.
“The goal is to encourage men and women of all shapes and sizes to improve their pole dancing skills while having fun, toning up and burning calories.”
The game would on the back of the popular Wii fit exercise game - in which people stand on a pressure-sensitive board and play games to improve fitness, strength and balance.

and all this time I though B was Bianca?? It's Bruce, isn't it
the only album of theirs i have heard is the one with lighting Crashes.
and it's not very good.
How did the weekend treat you all??
This thread has been thrashed the last coupla days
IMO anyway
Have been wondering where you've been??
Weekend was OK, I guess...same ol, same 'ol'.
How was your weekend?
★ 2009 - Sydney, Brisbane, Auckland, Christchurch ★
★ 2011 - EV Newcastle, Melbourne 1, Melbourne 2 ★
well my opinion of you has just gone down a few runs. and it wasn't very high to start with so you're in a bit of trouble.
but seriously, i reckon if i went and listened to that album right now it wouldn't hold up. like it's so 1997. it would just be cringe worthy.
but go and listen to Ten or Vs which are 15 year old albums they still hold up.
Ed K is a REALLY nice guy. Very humble too.

Hope everyone else is well!!
That's my opinion too
Throwing Copper is one of those albums which are timeless
enjoy Monday night all!!
