It's already destined to replace my previous summer's 'chill-out' album, Israel Kamakawiwo'ole - Facing Future

LOL!!!
He's awesome!!! He was a Hawaiian musician who died in 97. His voice is amazing!! I got into him while I was in Hawaii, and then when I got home I realised that Ed had covered Hawaii 78 at the Honolulu show. Hawaii 78 is on Facing Future0 -

aha! thank you - it was annoying me. I knew it would be obvious....Meet Joe Black is one of my all time fav; movies!!!Oz Jammer wrote:It's on the end of "Meet Joe Black"
Just listening to some of his other songs.
I like Hokule'a Star of Gladness.
I'd loved to have had his CD when my kids were babies....these songs just make me think of songs I used to sing to them....probably sounds strange, but I know what I mean
Would have been a beautiful CD to play to them

Facing Future is an awesome cd. Listening to it gives you the ability of closing your eyes and feeling like you're transported to a deserted beach on the North Shore, with the waves crashing on the sand, and the sun setting over the ocean *sigh*0 -
You're so lucky to ACTUALLY know that feelingOz Jammer wrote:Facing Future is an awesome cd. Yeah I did. I remember watching it when Ed had done it and thought it was just beautiful then. I remember reading about this massive big Hawiian guy in the audience with tears just rolling down his cheeksOz Jammer wrote:Yeah I know how you feel

Now that I've heard Iz do it too, it makes even more sense why Ed did it
