Because I spent 1/2 an hour twiddling my thumbs while nobody talked to me *sniff* :(

    :(
  • Don't know if it'll be open by november, they normally don't open new rides til like the holiday rush, so maybe more like december
Schoolies will have started, so maybe they'll have it open for that?

It's just going to be a fantastic 'chill-out' album.
It's already destined to replace my previous summer's 'chill-out' album, Israel Kamakawiwo'ole - Facing Future
    Kamawotthefuckawole!!?

Jack Johnson's CD's are my chill out music :)

    LOL!!!

He's awesome!!! He was a Hawaiian musician who died in 97. His voice is amazing!! I got into him while I was in Hawaii, and then when I got home I realised that Ed had covered Hawaii 78 at the Honolulu show. Hawaii 78 is on Facing Future

aha! thank you - it was annoying me. I knew it would be obvious....Meet Joe Black is one of my all time fav; movies!!!
Just listening to some of his other songs.
I like Hokule'a Star of Gladness.
I'd loved to have had his CD when my kids were babies....these songs just make me think of songs I used to sing to them....probably sounds strange, but I know what I mean :p Would have been a beautiful CD to play to them :)

Facing Future is an awesome cd. Listening to it gives you the ability of closing your eyes and feeling like you're transported to a deserted beach on the North Shore, with the waves crashing on the sand, and the sun setting over the ocean *sigh*

You're so lucky to ACTUALLY know that feeling :)

Yeah I know how you feel :)
Have you heard Hawaii 78 yet? Here it is - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FSXNP4uE4nc

The video provides a perfect companion to the powerful lyrics

Yeah I did. I remember watching it when Ed had done it and thought it was just beautiful then. I remember reading about this massive big Hawiian guy in the audience with tears just rolling down his cheeks :) Now that I've heard Iz do it too, it makes even more sense why Ed did it :)
