METALLICA PERFORMING AT BRIDGE SCHOOL BENEFIT CONCERT
Does two acoustic gigs in our hometown mean that we're sick of the studio again? Nah...not really...but we are honored that we have been invited to appear at the annual Bridge School Benefit concerts. Held on October 27 and 28, 2007 at Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, CA, this will be our second time participating in the all acoustic shows, and the 21st year that the benefit has been held in the Bay Area.
As usual, the line-up is stellar and we're looking forward to seeing Tom Waits, Eddie Vedder (with Flea & Jack Irons), John Mayer, of course Neil Young, and others perform those days. Tickets go on sale this Sunday, September 9, 2007 at 10:00 AM PST. For more details on this special event, check out the full news story. Met Club members should check http://www.metclub.com for Clubber pre-sale information.
Started by Neil and Peggy Young, the Bridge School is a non-profit organization assisting individuals with severe speech and physical impairments achieve full participation in their communities and is an internationally recognized leader in the education of children who use augmentative and alternative communication. The annual benefit concerts provide the majority of the funding for the school's operation. For more information, check out http://www.bridgeschool.org.

To be honest, I've stopped going back and reading because I haven't had much time so I don't really know what's going on, who's whoring etc. I just keep noticing milestones passing every couple of days....and I never get them!

Haha! I wouldn't bother going back and reading any of it Zig.....pages of complete and utter jibber half the timeZiggyStar wrote:To be honest, I've stopped going back and reading because I haven't had much time so I don't really know what's going on, who's whoring etc. I just keep noticing milestones passing every couple of days....and I never get them!

PJ is thrown into the jibber though....gotta keep on topic
Would you like a PM next time we're heading towards a milestone
Having said that I'd be hopeless, coz most of the time it takes me half an hour to realize what everyone was going on about when a milestone's beed had
Doh! I always forget to keep an eye on the post count. 0 -

Last night......dunno what happened there? Niether of us were tired.....I was hooked on Youtube and before we knew it the sun was coming up......poor Rob had to play his big soccer match today, too. They won though (YAHOOOOOO!!!!!!) so that's the main thing.
I've had a busy day......only just managed to really get on here and it's only for a wee visit - took your advice and hired Norbert, so off to watch that in a minute.0 -

Personally, I love that our thread has come back to life. We're a pretty special mob and it's good to keep in touch in between tours.....not just wait til tour time - weather it be to pop in every now and then, every day....or all day or night
November will be strange without keyboards in front of us LOL! I'm thinking of making up signs to hold up with things like ,
