Glenn always makes fun of my little business....Before we had kids, we both agreed (his idea) that I would give up work to be at home for them - at least while they were young.....thing is, that's not me....I've always worked at least 2 jobs. So....I started my 'little home based business' a few years ago now, just to give me something other than being a Mum, wife and house keeper. I have fun with it. A lot of my customers have been with me from the beginning. One in particular has become a great mate - who lives in Surfers and I'll be catching up with her when we're there in Nov;
So yeah....I'm no entrepeneur (sp?) but it keeps me out of mischief? keeps me saner? and gives me some pocket money
That's all I want.
Every little bit helps, and as you said, it gives you something to do0 -
Yep....I've always been a very independant person, so even though we're married etc; I like to have money other than what Glenn works his butt off for, to spend on things like presents, my lampwork supplies etc; and most importantly my "Jam Jar"Oz Jammer wrote:Every little bit helps, and as you said, it gives you something to do
I don't really need anything else to do, but it's something out of the "house wife/Mum" box:)0 -
Glenn was going to get a couple of iPods duty free for the boys for Christmas, but after reading what you and Sam have been saying, I'm thinking a Wii (no vaginawii for my boys
) would be better.
I assume they take disc's, seeing as though you can get them chipped? Yeah?
So then....wher do you get the copy games from? Are they just one's that people burn?0 -

Yeah you just burn them, but I do know a place where you can order games and they send them in the post. They cost $10 each0 -

Anyone wanna give me their interpretation about the meaning of the song 'Whipping". Im a bit lost!
I don't know. I always thought it was about nothing in life being free, and that there's usually an ulterior motive by most people when they offer help.
Just my interpretation0 -
I'll take that as an order for x 1, BrendanDonJon wrote:Beat me too it. Was gonna say vibrators with internal beads!
