the rally went fantastic.... there are 8000 voting people in this shire......... and 2000 marched!!!

dont know how much good its going to do but the turn out couldnt have been any better! it was incredible... people came from all over the shire! (think area from bussleton down to augusta out to nannup)

we'll probably be on the ABC news tonight.... definately on the 7 and 9 news for Queensland.
I'd rather be with an animal.

Kylie, Threefish is the tech head on here - Im useless and so is my puter. 99% sure you cannot plug your comp into telly which means you'd need to either burn to DVD (u cant) or VCD.

And Sam when mine first dropped out I had to start from scratch - thought it would strated at wherever I got to but nooooo.

Very quiet on here (this thread anyway) today considering what went on
I'll ride the wave where it takes me.

youd think wouldnt you, but i just now read a news report that Beatie is pushing through laws that are going to make this a done deal by tuesday. he's getting desperate. seriously we have NO say in this... we are a shire of 8000 voters, being merged with a shire of 75000 voters. there will be 10 councilors and 1 mayor for the whole new area and there are no division in the electorates.... meaning we arnt even going to get representation in council. we litterally are going to have NO voice.

they're getting heaps of protests from the Noosa people as well, cause they are suppose to merge with mooloolaba and colundra but the Noosa types aren't happy with that cause they don't want noosa to have high rises and stuff.

with all the objections you'd think pete might think it's not such a good idea.
    condescending and sarcastic since 1980

Cheers, will just have to cross my fingers and hope it doesn't keep dropping out, knowing my luck this one will get to 99 percent and drop out.....

My Mum and Dad went up to protest with the Noosa last week, I would've gone as well if they had told me earlier...

yeah we were sending our love down to noosa as well when we were marching... we're facing the same sort of threat with development up here too... we currently have really strict development restrictions in place - nothing taller than a coconut palm (no joke)!
if we're a northern suburb of cairns then we're going to end up like the gold coast.

I'm looking into it ATM....I only got the recorder last week and am still figuring out. I'm pretty sure it's s'posed to have a card reader slot thingy (hope that's not to technical, there ;) ), or maybe it was one of the 20gazillion others that I looked at????? If it has, I should be able to load it onto a card and go from there....I think......FUCK!!! Now I'm confusing myself :p

Well I get my new puter next week with a dvd burner so if you have probs let me know.

Hard to get a sweet copy of a stream tho - my visuals are only 70% right - little lags here and there.

Oh and by the way did anyone notice that all the arseholes had a holiday today (or at least in Syd). Shoulda blown up their establishments whilst they were out for the day

OH I would love you forever!!!! (Note** that is NOT the same as 'love you long time' !)

Just checked and it was a different model that takes the SD card :( Gaddammit! I'll check with JJJ tomorrow, she's just in Mandurah and I'm pretty sure she's got a DVD burner on her noo-poot, so she could prolly do it for me?
