yeah didn't you see the ads where they basically apologised for years of lying saying it had more Vitim c then oranges, when what they really meant to say was, it has more sugar then fairy floss.

I'm pretty sure it is still loaded with Vitamin C, i think they apologised because people thought they were saying that the ready to drink stuff had more Vitamin C than orange Juice products. I'm pretty sure i read that somewhere.

Too much for us on top of the $1300 air fares. I know what you mean about negotiating....I'm hopeless....I'm more likely to say something stupid like -are you sure that's enough? :D

I will get the name of those websites today.....there are so many places up there u willl be able to get something a lot cheaper than 300 per night...
The place my daughter stayed was 5 star and was really cheap.....u can get stand by accomm which is cheap....

Ozjammer and ozsammtowngirl here are those websites.....
u can book a month b4 the closer the time quite often the rates get even cheaper.
My daughter booked a week b4 and paid $125 a night the non internet rate was a $175 and a few days b4 the rate went down to $110.
It was a 5 star unit....only a yr old... so a good deal.

I was looking for accommodation earlier and stumbled across the "Circle On Cavill". I emailed the owner for a quote, and he sent me a reply saying that his agent had gotten a few enquiries, and that minimum stay was 7 nights :(
I emailed him back telling him why I was going up to the Gold Coast, and reassured him that I wasn't a 'rowdy' drunken teen.
He sent me an email back just now saying that he's also a Pearl Jam fan, and that he'd be willing to make it an 'owner booking' so that I could have it for the 3 nights. He was saying that the agent he goes through is asking for $500 per night but he'll let me have it for $300, but if I want I can negotiate. The funny thing is that he also lives in Newcastle
The place is fantastic, and the balcony looks directly down onto the Hard Rock Cafe, but the price is a bit of a worry. I don't know what to do. He's given me his mobile number but negotiation isn't my forte.

My little disabled brother is getting 3 wisdom teeth out right now! :( Poor little bugger. He's apparently just got into recovery. Hope he's okay.

Leigh and I bought him all these presents for when he gets out (so he has something to look forward to) and apparently all he cared about before getting knocked out was coming passed work and picking up the presents. He's so cute!

He's obsessed with Superman and superheroes etc so we bought him Smallville Season 1 (880 mins of Superman Heaven!), 4 comics (Transformers, Star Wars, Iron Man and Spiderman) and 3 packs of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles stickers and trading cards! Mum and Dad got him the brand new TMNT PS2 game and some other stuff!

I'm the best sister in the world! :D

haha...my Mum used to be a merchandiser and this one particular Foodland that she used to look after, was owned by these 2 Italian brothers. Mum speaks several languages and they obviously didn't know (of course) as they would quite often make sleezy little comments about her to each other in Italian. One day they started saying really dirty stuff about her, so when she was leaving, instead of going and sorting their order etc; with them in English, she did it all in Italian :D PRICELESS!
