not a lot! Handed in my honours thesis about 10 days ago now and have been on a lil holiday Had a quick look around for jobs on the net once or twice and am going to apply for a couple either tomorrow or tuesday that dont look too shabby!

Also, long story short...our pet rainbow lorikeet escaped on thursday and I was walking down for a surf this afternoon and got to the beach about a km away and heard a 'hello, hello...howsat?' from the bushes, turned around and there he was munching on a flower! Ditched my board in the bushes, took bird into friendly locals garage, ran home, drove back down and got him back! Currently sitting on my shoulder preening himself and falling asleep listening to Benaroya Hall with me!

Wow, that is so cool re: the bird. What a coincidence! Maybe it was his way of telling you he wants to go to the beach more often, he wants to catch some waves and check out the chicks (literally I imagine!). Congrats on handing in the Beast. Did it feel wonderful? I was very excited the day I posted mine off, and then I got stressed that Ozzie post would lose it, I think I was just so used to being stressed that I had to find soemthing new to worry about!

best feeling ever just quiety I spent 27 hours straight working on it though before it was due and handed it in with 3 minutes to spare hahaha. Needless to say I slept for 16 hours when i got home!

Feels damn good at the moment having not really anything remotely close to having a care in the world. Its not going to last so might as well enjoy it while i can

i went as well, they were ok. heaps better last time @ the gov, and nothing compared to the real thing,!!!!
oh and $35 is absolutally rediculous price to see a cover band!!!

I'm glad you got your bird back and that he knew how to get his own food in the wild. Maybe he needs his wings clipped a bit? I've got two budgies and would be devastated if they ever flew away.

HOWEVER, we then have a second round for $2 where we get to choose who we want. Say if my assigned person gets kicked out this weekend, I can then have first pick who I think will win and then that person is mine in round 2.

I'm pretty sure TJ will be gone quick smart so now I'm wondering who I think may win...I don't mind Bodie....or Andrew maybe. Who knows.
