I think this has been answered quite sufficiently... just minus a few parts on my account :)

    1. The fact I that I was standing and got told to sit down, the fuckers behind complaining then moved, without telling me heh,

    2. People in front of me looked like they were about to fall asleep! (I can't recall if they played Comatose that night, i need to look it up)

    3. Almost all of Section 42 were sitting down.

    4. I had 10club seats the night before, and this was a VERY different experience.... it's been okay previously at smaller venues to not have 10club seats/standing, but this Acer arena was huge and it sucked getting crappy seats... Sydney #3 and Newcastle made up for Sydney #2 being ruined for me, it really did ruin the show so much i can't really remember it, maybe the other shows were so mind blowing for me that Sydney #2 didn't rate. :)

    5. Oh and the fact I had someone throw something at me for standing up at a rock concert... haha was only something small, but still....
Just as well I managed to find Gitta who was sposed to be sitting in the next block of seats, for us to stand together up in the fucking rafters. Would've found it a lot harder to enjoy this show otherwise.

I was on Stone's side almost at the back of the floor and me and my sister, our friend and this other lady who we made friends with were having an awesome time and the dudes behind us were fine with us but the dude next to me... I could have punched him. He looked at me every time I sang a little too loud. It's a concert for goodness sakes! He stood there the whole time, didn't even Know the words to Alive and when they played Baba O'Riley and the "Don't cry" bit came he gave me another funny look (so I gave him a sarcastic grin which is really annoying coming from a 17 year old girl I'd imagine). Anyway thanks for reading. Thank God I went to Sydney 3 and had good seats!

    Hi All

Initially I agreed with this, not happy that we didnt have the option to get great seats to each show.

But then after the tour, my thoughts changed. This was based on:

Brisbane and Melbourne 1 - My 10C seats were 3rd row, on the extreme ends. Now dont get me wrong, I was privileged to have that opportunity, but the view was not ideal...

The non-10C shows gave me a different pespective, a chance to look around, take in the atmosphere. Sure some of my seats were at the back, but you make your own fun.

Also, having all 10C shows wouldnt have given two of my non-10C mates (who came to Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and Newcastle with me) to have front row in Newcastle.

It also wouldnt have given me the chance to be front row at Adelaide 2 :D:D:D

Maybe we can look at an alternative: For all subsequent shows, allocate the same portion of 10C seats and generate tickets in random 10C order. Sure it may mean Gus may be row 5 for a show (GASP!!! :)) instead of front row each time, but it mixes it up a bit.

Anyway, ive babbled enough for a Sunday night.

I loved having 10c tix for Melb 1 but also loved the seats that I had for Melb 2 and 3 they were in the lower section which was probably better for someone of my height to be, than on the floor unless I would have been lucky to have had no taller ppl in front of me....BUT I think the most important thing that really made all my shows great were being around ppl that were there for the same reason as me and shared the passion and love for PJ.............u cant beat that vibe........
    Cant wait for next time...:)

That wouldve sucked totally.....U have to be around and near ppl that share the love of Pj...not ppl that are going to give ya dirty looks cos u are singing loud...
Although if it was me singing I would understand why they would be giving me dirty looks...LOL

I couldn't agree more ... Big Brother is shite!

Back to the subject of Pearl Jam I read on another board that Mike called his daughter Kaia and Stone called his daughter Vivian and that they were both born on the same day .. April 12. :)

It's probably pronounced Kaya .. not sure though. Sounds Hawaiian! :)

There's also another rumour going around that Mike's daughter is called Jimi.. after Hendrix.

  • ok ladies.... i understand that you do not like Big Bro.... But, I do and this thread is full of bullshit anyhow, so it wouldnt be right to take the bullshit out of the No Bullshit thread... you get me.:p Agreed.. thankyou :)

I dont wanna post this bit just in case but...
Why the hell are we still here?
Kat and Sea know we use the thread as a meeting place which is totally against the rules....

we also use it to share our Love for the Pearl Jam boys and talk about them coming back to see us in 2009..

But Really..... I just cant understand the special treatment.

Kaia is a really cute name :)

Well i sang my little heart out to all the songs... No one around me had even heard Baba... or Indifference... geezus... Some person falling asleep may have had me trying to wake them up... with my singing only :) Still I had much better times at the other shows!

no you misunderstand - i think, i bought, i joined the board, i paid for m/ship, - or perhaps, i joined board then bought. But joining the fan club doesnt activate your board m/ship

theres manytimes ive kicked myself for not getting fan club m/ship earlier, but you could buy things without it, so ... i dont know i just didnt, and i was considered a 10c member from a goods point of view (ie i had a 10c number in my profile) I guess it just wasnt an active number from a tix point of view until i paid for a valid stand alone membership, and when i did pay, thats the number that they issued me. does that make sense?
(god i remember buying ten when it was very first released, so imagine if i had joined the fan club then ... *sigh* )
the girl i took to newcastle with me paid for club membership before i bothered to, but i have a much earlier number, and i can only assume thats from buying gear out off the goods section.

as for why this thread is not locked - it keeps us out of other threads? we are nice to each other? everyone loves australians? :)
