Australia and NZ tour rumours going around Part 2 (No Bullshit)

Hang on a sec, I just thought of soemthing, very slow on the up take I am. How can people be quiet at a PJ concert? I lost my voice for a week after Brissy 1, and when I play the bootleg I can't keep my mouth shut or my body still. Did they overindulge in substances?

It did have it's moments that show, but for the most part, it was painful and lifeless. I think that's what started me getting on my seat at each show after, trying to pysch everyone up. Sydney 2 was a damaging experience and the band were really put off by it! I think ridiculous security might've been partly to blame too.

Pearl Jam had been spoilt by such good crowds in the US and Europe, then they came here and our audiences were a little bit more self-conscious. It wasn't just Sydney 2.. I think Melbourne 1 left a bit to be desired, and watching some dig cam footage, a lot of people on the side stayed in their seats, even during RITFW! I also remember lots of sitters at Adelaide and Newy. But for the most part, the crowds exceeded my expectations.

Sydney 3 from #2 was such a big turnaround it wasn't funny. So glad I decided to go - my favourite show of the tour.

And how is everyone? Looks like lifewasted.net is in a coma.. :(

I think they definitely need to look at having 10c seats for all shows, Not just the 1st night if they come back again.
I remember reading a post after the Syd 2 show that Ed was surprised and didnt know that 10c members didnt have 10c tickets for the added shows...

I had 10c seats so all I saw were fellow 10 clubbers in front of me, and we were all going off well and truly, althought when I looked up the sides everyone else seemed to be standing. And Betterman was freaking awesome withe evryone singing. I just assumed therefore that everyone was going crazy at Brissy 1, but it's likely that not every single person was going mad! 10c seats for every show would be awesome from my point of view as a ten clubber, but i can see a whole lot of other non club member fans that would ark up about that. unless they had it so the first show there was maximum excellent 10c seats, 2nd show a few less, etc. Although I still reckon it'd cause a backlash.

yeah, we all have to push for this if there's another tour in the future. we know the band would support it, and they're the boss, right?

Have fun at work. I have an ironing pile the size of Mt Everest so will be doing it while watching BB. Gretel has hired a new stylist so her outfits might not be as fun to pay out on as in previous years darn it!!!

My thoughts on Big Brother are as follows:

1. Move the show from winter to summer...
2. Air the show later at night...
3. Give them as much alcohol as they can consume...
4. Sit back and laugh!

Now there's a ratings winner if I ever saw one...

LOL....what is it with baskets of ironing that keep growing mine has now become two baskets of ironing the size of Everest..LOL...

Might not have known before the tour, but they definitely knew about this by the time the tour finished, what with us touring people mentioning it every time one of us bumped into them

nope, cause channel 10 have been running ads saying there is no prize money and also BB reveals his big secret.

don't get too excited cause BB big secrets and surprises always turn out to be lame.

like the "World First" from last season that still hasn't happened

EDIT: there still is prize money but they have to earn it, kinda the opposite of last year where they lost money if they got fined, this year the prize starts at zero and they have to do tasks and shit i guess to build the prize money up.

Hi All

Initially I agreed with this, not happy that we didnt have the option to get great seats to each show.

But then after the tour, my thoughts changed. This was based on:

Brisbane and Melbourne 1 - My 10C seats were 3rd row, on the extreme ends. Now dont get me wrong, I was privileged to have that opportunity, but the view was not ideal...

The non-10C shows gave me a different pespective, a chance to look around, take in the atmosphere. Sure some of my seats were at the back, but you make your own fun.

Also, having all 10C shows wouldnt have given two of my non-10C mates (who came to Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and Newcastle with me) to have front row in Newcastle.

It also wouldnt have given me the chance to be front row at Adelaide 2 :D:D

Maybe we can look at an alternative: For all subsequent shows, allocate the same portion of 10C seats and generate tickets in random 10C order. Sure it may mean Gus may be row 5 for a show (GASP!!! ) instead of front row each time, but it mixes it up a bit.

Anyway, ive babbled enough for a Sunday night.

I think this has been answered quite sufficiently... just minus a few parts on my account

1. The fact I that I was standing and got told to sit down, the fuckers behind complaining then moved, without telling me heh,

2. People in front of me looked like they were about to fall asleep! (I can't recall if they played Comatose that night, i need to look it up)

3. Almost all of Section 42 were sitting down.

4. I had 10club seats the night before, and this was a VERY different experience.... it's been okay previously at smaller venues to not have 10club seats/standing, but this Acer arena was huge and it sucked getting crappy seats... Sydney #3 and Newcastle made up for Sydney #2 being ruined for me, it really did ruin the show so much i can't really remember it, maybe the other shows were so mind blowing for me that Sydney #2 didn't rate.

5. Oh and the fact I had someone throw something at me for standing up at a rock concert... haha was only something small, but still....
