well i never knew that.... must be famous and/or old if the whole fucking area is named after it!!!

    *sigh*

Well actually, IT is named after the area :o
    The Astoria??? Orgazmic!
    Verona??? it's all surmountable
Dublin 23.08.06 "The beauty of Ireland, right there!"
    Wembley? We all believe!
Copenhagen?? your light made us stars
    Chicago 07? And love
    What a different life

    *double sigh*

well i didnt know any of this.... and yes its all very boring shite!! ;):p

so the area was 1st and the pub came 2nd... gotcha!

that link made it sound pretty nice :)
oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

Yep probably - it's not too old though, temple bar was part of a big regeneration project about 15 years ago or something. The link DOES make it sound nice doesn't it? And it will be big enough for everyone which is something, the bouncers rarely stop anyone going in which is something else... so there should be no problems with the place.

Im arriving with a friend some point early afternoon. Will probably take a look around and only have a couple before the gig. Is there anywhere cool to hang out after the gig? bars, clubs etc? what's Dublin like on a wednesday and when do the latest places close?

My flight back is first thing in the morning so it's gonna be an all nighter.

We land at about 7am, Ryanair from Liverpool, on the 23rd, and fly back the next afternoon.

Provisionally booked into the Jury's hotel near the Point.

Oh and yeah, its less than five weeks now ;-)
