Well now that we're getting closer :) some of us decided we need a thread like this. This is for everyone coming to the Dublin concert looking to meet up with others or whatever. So if everyone posts what date and time they're arriving into dublin airport, when they're leaving, maybe where they're staying if they want... it will make it easier for people to find eachother... maybe arrange taxis together and stuff like that. I'm so bad at this, lol :D

Anyway I'll update this as we go along (providing anyone replies  )

PRE gig drinks will be in The Temple Bar pub (in Temple Bar) from whatever time people get there at  We will all be in the smoking section at the back (which isn't smokey, it's outdoors but thought we could accommodate the smokers). Phone numbers, etc. will be available closer to the time.

I can understand all you people who don't want to have full bladders but....

you can still come to the pub and 'socialise' :D You will need to drink something (even water!) seeing you're going to be sweating buckets during the show! Don't want to dehydrate and faint! :D

COME TO THE PUB WITH THE REST OF US!!!!! :D

don't get me wrong i'll be there (hopefully theres still some unknown variables that could prevent me from getting there early) but i certainly won't be getting drunk (at least until half an hour aftere the show is over)

I just want to experiance every little thing that will happen at the gig
  • redrockredrock Posts: 18,341

The Dublin blog is just a blog that was set up by Byrnzie (he'll PM you the necessary stuff to get on it). If they want, people going to Dublin post their pic and maybe a little blurb so when we do find a pub, we can recognise each other! When we had one for the Astoria, we also put finalised details of meeting point, etc. :D

Gen and I arrive on the 21st at about 2.30ish on Ryan Air from Bristol.

Staying at the Jurys Inn Custom House for 3 nights

Departing 24th on Ryan Air to Bristol about 12.30ish (I think)

I know neither of us are big time posters here but it might be kinda cool to go for a beer before the show, or even afterwards.

We don't have any firm plans for our two days in Dublin other than PJ, but maybe the Guiness Factory and Gen wants to go to the Zoo....and some very good chocolate shop in the centre who's name I can't remember
