what ive always loved about the show and about Tiny Furniture is the honesty and rawness of the writing. these are deeply personal stories and topics explored each week. Yet somehow Lena makes it relateable. Shes able to tap into the confusion of being 20 something in a really smart and real way. She isnt patronizing. She isnt looking down upon others. She's writing about our lives. Inspiring stuff

Great writing this season. It was SO much darker than last year. I'm still intrigued and entertained, but it has definitely taken things to a different level.

I don't know what to think. I really really really hate Hannah. Self-involved brat. Her neediness just irritates the ever-loving crap out of me. I don't know if I can see past it. I'm glad the season is over...I may just need time to let it sink in and get over that for the next season.

Besides Marnie, I don't think an of these characters are likable. Jessa is the absolute worst...so glad she was barely on this season. You summed up Hannah pretty well. Shoshana (sp?) is all over the place. Pretty good season overall, but like someone else said on here it was much darker than last season.

Lena Dunham has hit out at a PORN remake of her hit HBO series "Girls."
The X-rated parody, called "This Ain't Girls XXX," shows a saucy version of the program's lead character Hannah Hovarth (played by Lena, who also wrote the series) break up with her boyfriend Adam Sackler (Adam Driver in the original series) to explore sexual relationships with women.
In a rant on Twitter, Lena wrote:
Okay, I wracked my brain to articulate why I can't just laugh off a porn parody of Girls and here are 3 reasons:
1. Because Girls is, at its core, a feminist action while Hustler is a company that markets and monetizes a male's idea of female sexuality
2. Because a big reason I engage in (simulated) onscreen sex is to counteract a skewed idea of that act created by the proliferation of porn
3. Because it grosses me out.
It's important to me to be honest about the complexities of having that out in the world. Love, Lena (porn name: Murray Broadway)
