Anyone else watch this show?
I absolutely love it and have been watching religiously. I think Lena Dunham's incredibly talented for her age.
That being said. I really really really don't need to see her naked again. It's ENOUGH already Lena!!!! Nobody plays ping pong in their skivvies!!! :nono:

You can't really compare it to anything out there. It's basically a show about this group of girlfriends in their early 20's that live in NYC. It basically shows how they get through life, their job debacles, family debacles, relationships. Some things are a little far-fetched, but for the most part it's a very honest and real show. Some of the characters are amazing.
Yeah I've never seen any of those shows except Buffy but I'm quite sure Buffy rates WAY higher than any of them.
I couldn't get past the first episode, where the huge crisis for the lead character was that mommy and daddy weren't going to give her any more money.
Figured that I will never give two shits about what happens to the character after that.
I keep hearing great stuff about it. I want to support good television writing and I've even spoken a few times to one of the actresses from the show while we've got our kids at the playground (not knowing who she was at the time) and she seems like a nice enough woman, so I wouldn't mind supporting something she was in, too.
But I don't think I'll ever see past that first episode. These characters live in New York City, right? There's always a way to make money in this town -- only problem is, you've gotta work for it. Boohoo.
I've never seen any of those stupid 'girlie' shows, I have no desire to watch bad acting about over dramatized, far fetched situations. (yes, I despise soaps)
interested in checking out the show, I just don't want to waste my time on something if I'm gonna end up saying, "boy, I feel stupider after watching that".

"I'm gonna beat this guy up."
Seriously she makes me feel like a supermodel. And those tats???? UGH!!!!!!!! I'm sorry, I hate to say it...but if I looked like that believe me I would NOT be flaunting it all over the world At first I thought kudos to her for her confidence, but now it's just too too too much!
I cant get over the fact that
NBC Nightly News' Brian Williams daughter is one of the main characters ( Marnie ) .
How uncomfortabke it must be for him to watch his daughter engaged in
all the drug and sex related scenarios.
That it ain't no sin to be glad you're alive

I wish she was the one getting naked all the time instead of Lena Dunham.
She called in and seemed a good sport about it
I see Brian Williams walking on Park Ave at least once a week...his daughter should walk with her dad
I noticed in the episode where she bangs the gay dude they were very careful to cover up her naughty bits...and I remember thinking why can Hannah get naked on the regular but Marnie...the hot one...won't even show a nip? Now I get it!
edit: I do watch moonshiners, tho :fp:
