It definitely was a special night, cause the show was on even though it was raining pretty bad for the first 45 mins or so...
A few highlights of the evening...
Release as an opener, amazing. Mike going nuts on his solos, but Even Flow behind his head>>> INSANE!
I wanted to hear Inside Job so bad And thanks to my friend Killroy, we also got it on camera. He recorded the entire song!!!
A very emotional moment was when Eddie was talking about Johnny Ramones anniversary the night before and how he talked to his wife on the phone and told him to say HI to all Italian fans. COme Back and Miracles for a great friend and musician.
This was one year ago from Ottawa, one of my last years shows, so I expected them to play Miracles. And what a show!
Oh yeah, how could I forget? LBC always hits me, esp the part *lost 9 friends we'll never know, 6 years ago (today)*... Ahhh
But....MY VERONA was definitely the best part and so funny! haha...
Ok, I cant write more, Im still too tired. ill post some pics (even though theyre not so good) and write a full review...Need to recharge batteries
The rain was annoying as hell but also fun at the same time! It peeved me off that it stopped raining for MMJ's set, but then started again for the first 6 or 7 PJ songs!
From where we were (the stone steps at the top opposite the stage) the floor looked absolutely dead for most of the night, and the crowd noise didn't sound so loud. But certain songs got everyone going.
It was still an awesome show, singing along in the rain, fist-pumping all night...and i FINALLY got to hear Release!!!!!!

The whole day was totally amazing. Verona is a beautiful city and very friendly. It was so great to meet up with other PJ fans from all over the world. What an amazing gig.... I thought the rain added so much to it... the city was brilliant... so small that it was impossible not to find the Pearl Jam party.... which went on until the very early ours every morning....
