    wow. old school footage like this is so fun to watch. wheels and jay johnstone were the prism announcers in 1993. haha

    dykstra was hitting .233 heading into that pirates game in may. i thought he got off to a scorching start along with the rest of the team that year....

    There's sooo much awesome shit on here. I wish he had the doubleheader against the Giants that went till like 6 in the morning on here.

    And the game in 90 or 91 - I believe - where Dykstra turns to the Dodgers catcher (Jack Dempsey, I think?) and unloads on him. Dude was complaining about the ump's strike zone (as the story goes apparently), Dempsey told him to quit bitching and get back in the box (or I could have this completely backwards and Dempsey was bitching about the strike zone Lenny was getting), and Lenny says, "Look at the fucking scoreboard motherfucker (he was hitting like .341); I think I know what the strike zone should be NOW SHUT THE FUCK UP."

    ...anyway, something along those lines....which is awesome....Man, still sucks my favorite ballplayer growing up is a complete embarrassment now...oh well...sunrise, sunset...

    Was it the Padres? Could've sworn it was the Giants. Maybe they had two that year and/or I'm getting the two mashed together.

    I remember this one as one of the Giants player snagged a roped line drive and then slamming down the ball touchdown-style and that pissed off the team and the Phils came back to win some ridiculous game...run-on sentence.

    I'm probably mixing up the two games/series.

    yeah i think that was a different game. i believe when the pitcher spiked the ball, the giants were up like 7-0 and the phils stormed back to win in extra innings so it went late also i guess. imalive can probably remember it.. haha
