Holy Shitballs guys. Staying at the Hyatt on Wacker. Called to confirm something else and for the hell of it asked the price of the Wi-Fi. $12.95.

It's insane!! I already have to pay $100 for my roaming package, and now $13 a day for WiFi for 5 nights?? I think I'm going to have a little talk with them when I check in and see if I can't get that comped.

I used credit card points to get a $25 gift card for hyatt. I'm only gonna be there for 3 nights. I'll just suck it up and pay the difference for two days of wifi, Friday and Saturday. I'll check everything I need to check on my phone on sunday before we leave. Thursday I'll just park my ass in whatever coffee shop with my laptop instead of grabbing coffee to go.

Anybody found any decent parking garage options near the Hyatt Regency that doesn't cost a fortune? Looks like there are Millennium garages a few blocks south from there that might offer overnight parking.

I was actually debating parking at South Bend airport and taking the train, I've done that before. But I think we have to get back home early on Sunday to pick up our daughter so don't think that's going to work.

I'm going to call Millennium garages and find out what they offer. Also looks like http://www.parkwhiz.com has some options.

More importantly, does Chicago have Dunkin Donuts? Hopefully near the Hyatt

Internet tells me there's hundreds in town and one around the corner. 8-)

Glad I'm not the only one that looks for this. There's also a coffee shop called Descartes that I'll probably hit up around the Hyatt.

Any other breakfast places close to the Hyatt? I would like to go out for breakfast one morning. Maybe some place where we could get pancakes or waffles.

I found this place immediately after booking the Hyatt. Which means I've been dreaming about cranberry pecan pancakes for months.

This is all I've been doing for two days, looking up places to eat and drink coffee near the Hyatt: http://www.yelp.com/search?find_desc=&find_loc=Chicago%2C+IL&ns=1#find_loc=151+East+Wacker+Drive+Chicago,+Illinois+60601&cflt=breakfast_brunch

Ha! Me too. I have spent considerable time looking for food! I'll probably gain 5lbs over this long weekend! Not to mention the alcohol intake. Thanks for the link.

I'd like to ask the same of someone (maybe the same one who might help dougfloyd!). If someone staying at the Hyatt is going for merch on Thursday it would be awesome if they could snag me a poster in a tube - I'll pay cash when you hand it to me or paypal in advance. Thanks!

Lets start off by saying that this is my first Ten Club Ticketed event, but not my first concert. I will be doing this show solo so I was wondering what the plans for the people that are staying at the Hyatt are. I would love to meet up with some of you wonderful people and head to Wrigley together. If I missed a pre-show meet up just point me in the correct direction. My flight gets in to Midway at around 830am... Only bad thing is because of work I have to leave Sat afternoon so I don't have much time in town.

Hope to meet some of you on Friday and for those that are traveling like me, safe travels.
  • Getting in Fri AM
Traveling solo, but meeting up with some old friends and hoping to meet some new ones!
Staying at the Hyatt as well
See you in a few days!
