ever hear of the town in Pennsylvania that's had an underground fire burning for years...Centralia? That location has been used in numerous tv shows and movies as a haunted ghost town and for good reason.

Well, the people of centralia have been relocated to an area that is about 1/4 of a mile from the cemetary at sleep hollow.

    coincidence? I think NOT

Yeah, I read about that somewhere! So creepy!!!!!!

the discovery of the centralia minefire culminated in 1981 when a 12-yr old Todd Domboski fell in a sinkhole and was pulled out by his cousin (both kid and hole in picture)

I went to high school with him and in 9th grade start of high school, he was known to all of us as "the kid who fell in the hole".

In history class I sat right in front of "the kid who fell in the hole"....so I used to turn around and look at him sometimes.

One day he whispered to me...."turn around or I'll kill ya"..

    :wtf:

    I did.

    (looking ahead)

(he was kidding, it was funny)

It's quite Ghostly,But I say it's God-like to me.It was 20some years ago when it first happened.I was in bed asleep when all of a sudden I was awakened by a jolt,as if I were levitating and just dropped back into my bed. I at that point, looked at the clock and it was 3:33am. It happened several times after that. And each time it was 3:33am.to this day,I live with 333. Everyday, I either see it on a license plate @ 3:33 in the afternoon or on a sign, the radio in my truck or car,An Address, even someone saying it in passing. The first initial happening wasn't alarming,so I've never felt threatened. So that's why I just say ,I Love You God when it happen's. Kinda my way of accepting it as someone looking out for me. I just don't know. If anyone has any knowlege in numbers and their meaning I'd surely like to know?

in latin 3 is a "perfect" number and instead of saying the most perfect you would say whatever it is three times...or "333".

in latin, 6 is an "imperfect" number, and thus ....well i'm a scaredy pants but tres six is...most imperfect.

but 333 would be like the antithesis of....those tres six

    FYI.

by the way, I am awaked in the middle of the night at the same time all the time too... those times change though.....weird...

People who believe in ghosts.... :fp:

that's how we all start out..until you come face to face with something unexplainable and undeniable
what it is i have no idea
    but something
I'm a man of science. Even if the unexplainable happened, I would certainly know there is an explanation for it outside our irrational fear/delusion/neuro-deficiencies that cause us humans to believe and think of such ridiculous notions.

That said, it does make for interesting movies! :D

Yes. And that's because the neuro-sufficient human brain is all knowing. I mean, of course.

    No, I'm serious.

Here's to Mr. Science. I stayed in a home where the woman that my mother took care of,Passed away. Every night when I went to bed,I would hear the sound of little bells. Finally,One night I yelled out,"What Do You Want?" All of a sudden the picture behind my bed,Fell off and hit my head. It was a picture of her Cat's.They were wearing collars with bell's on them.I told her that her cat's were O.K. and that they were sent to her Sister's in Arizona. From that day forward, the bell's never rang again. That's all She wanted to know.

No, but its interesting that whenever folks perceive a "ghost", it is overwhelmingly when such folk are either tired, depressed, or have a psychological condition.
The Amygdala is a silly beast that kicks in in such moments. It has many powerful effects on thinkers and non-thinkers alike. :?

I never met my boyfriends Grandmother. But it was early 4th of july morning,I was dreaming that
an elderly woman was calling out my boyfriends name. All of a sudden, the phone rang, waking us both up. His Grand Mother had passed in the night.
