Earth Rocker Festival this weekend, pretty stoked!  Hoping they dish out some deep cuts for the occasion.

Clutch released a signed boxset of their past few albums, available on their site.  Hell of a deal for $25!

Man, I LOVE this band! I didn't get into them until 2006, but since then they've released 5 studio records, 4 reissues, 3-4 live records/DVD's. The Bakerton Group and The Company Band have also had a few releases. Their ticket prices are always low and shows are flawless. Now this- just a perfect example of how I wish all bands would function. Their back catalog is pretty amazing as well. I don't understand why they're not more popular, but to me, Clutch is pretty hard to top. I mean, I love a few other bands (like PJ, RHCP and Metallica) just as much, if not more, but damn, they have kept me amazed over the last 11 years! Can't wait to see them with Primus next month!!

It's difficult to not love Clutch.  Blows my mind when people aren't into them after a few listens.  Fucking love this band, and I've dug their last two albums more than PJ's (not that any band will ever compete with PJ for my favorite band).  Where are you seeing them next, Red Hat?  Did you go to the Earth Rocker Festival?

Not the best single I’ve heard from them.  Been avoiding the other new songs they’ve played live.  Still stoked for the September drop.

Not that much impressed for a first listen. I haven't heard any of the other new stuff. What do you guys think so far? Is Book Of Bad Decisions going to be a good album overall?

It amazes me that I still run across people who are big music fans that have never even heard of them.
Selfishly, I'm kind of glad that they aren't more popular because that means I can still see them at small venues but this band deserves a bigger following.
  • Well the new album is fucking stellar.
