I saw Clutch at Voodoo in Nawlins rain. Basically it was so bad they cancelled next day due to flooding. That being said, Clutch in a torrential downpour equals good times.

Looks like their latest sets have been 90% from their last two albums, with an older 'hit' or two thrown in for the encore. They'll be here supporting Lamb of God soon....first time I've ever been on the fence about seeing Clutch....short set + no surprises + headliner I'm not that into + Sunday night = maybe. Hate it when they open for people. I miss the days of 2 HR + sets...they have been keeping their sets way too short for my liking (and to do their catalogue justice), even as headliners.

I saw Clutch three times in 2015: Twice with Mastodon and once solo. The Mastodon shows were earlier in the year; the one was on the 20th anniversary of the self titled album, so the first three or four songs were from that, and it rocked. Both of those shows were fantastic, everything you'd expect from a Clutch show. The solo show was a cool experience with them playing their full album (not in order), but it didn't have the pace and excitement of a normal Clutch show.
I wouldn't put much stock into that; if you like Clutch you are going to enjoy yourself at the show. Cheers!
