Mushrooms are my biggest no-no. Also don't like salmon, though I eat pretty much every other fish/seafood. Liverwurst is nasty. Oh, and cheesecake. Ick.

Then there are plenty of foods I'll never try like liver, tongue, snails, head cheese, etc.

    Funny story about tongue.

While deployed to Nicaragua a boy came by the job site the Engineers were working ( we were security for them) and was selling food. It looked like a burrito so "Goldberg" and I bought one. Three months of MRE meals was getting old. So I unwrapped it and took a big bite well it was gross. Then i look at it and there is a big ol tongue looking right at me. It had little hairs on it. I screamed what the fuck and threw it at the bulldozer that was passing by. Goldberg threw his down and started screaming all kinds of obsenities. We didn't buy shit from people since. I can still see that pale tongue with little whiskers on it to this day. It's funny now but then I wasn't happy.

  • Seafood, the smell alone turns my stomach - and don't give me any of that "if it's fresh it shouldn't have any smell" crap either, because it still DOES!

Cheese made from any animal's milk other than a cow - goat, sheep etc it smells exactly like the animal it comes from!

    Any kind of offal
    Lamb
    Peas
    Custard
    Rice pudding
    Raisins, currants, sultanas
  • Salmon (and other real "fishy" fish)
    liver/heart/patte

I honestly cannot think of much else.

Beides raw cuts of good fish, clams, squid, octopus, I hate fish. Fried fish is mostly pretty disgusting... Walleye is always a treat.
    Calamari is squid, yes

I don't think clams swim... I just lumped them in there because they kick ass.

Man, gotta respect some fresh sushi

I hate too many foods to list. Its actually easier for me to list foods I like.
  • mca47mca47 Posts: 13,280
    Weird.

I don't think there is anything I necessarily hate on its own. There are some things I can do without and other things I just don't eat (red meat, pork...well, all mammals). I don't hate them, just don't eat them for my own reasons.

Actually, there is something I hate...
    Processed foods.
I truly believe if every school in America had a culinary class and a nutrition class that were mandatory, the country as a whole would be far healthier, it would do less environmental damage, and healthcare costs would plummet!
