3 rushing attempts. hahaha... You obviously cannot win games like that. What a joke.

Mailata and Brooks being out was huge. Saemulo looks like he will miss time as well. There's no depth anywhere on this team for obvious reasons.

ON THE BRIGHT SIDE: we currently have 3 top 10 picks next year!

Well Hurts picked up enough garbage time points for my FFL team to win by 0.6 - so that's something.  ;)

Just another reason to hate fantasy.  Hurts sucked last night but you got points because he piled up a bunch of meaningless yards when the game was no longer in doubt.
  • All the past 3 weeks have taught me is that the Falcons are a really bad fucking team.
  • ...which in turn shows how bad the Giants are.

Also, Sirianni is starting to hit that Kotite stride.
  • My wife needs to stop watching Sirianni speak.  After every time she does, her head splits in half and she rages.  It is pretty funny to witness.  Keep telling her he just got the job but she cannot get over the fact that he sounds like a complete idiot.

(I also need to play her a Jim Tomsula presser -- that would be what having a complete idiot for a head coach sounds like.)

This is basically a gap year anyway. Any success we have is a bonus.

I haven't seen much of the press conferences, but hasn't Sirianni gotten a lot better since that first one?

Me too but Fme brought it up so I was curious.

The play calling last night was quite possibly the worst I have ever seen. How in the world do you call three running plays to running backs the entire game....especially when Sanders is as good as he is? Brutal.

Surely our QB who has trouble passing accurately will drop back 60 times with a (yet again) depleted offensive line, against the team that's been in the last 2 Super Bowls. Can't wait.

so what is worse, the NFC East or the NL East?   They both suck which gives our Philly teams a shot.  Game tonight is a must win for the Cowboys. Killer loss for them if they lose. For Birds schedule is brutal coming up.  KC, at Carolina which is looking tougher than expected, Bucs, than at the Raiders.  Two Super Bowl teams and two current 3-0 teams after tonight. Brutal stretch but a bit less crucial if win tonight.  Go Birds
NL East. I hate to admit/say this but Dallas is pretty good and should run away with the division. NL East there is no one that ran away with the division. Mets in the beginning and the Braves almost did towards the second half but no one has dominated the division.

I think I saw McCoy say that if there's anything he wish he could've done differently was play in Philly during his prime. Am I missing something, or is that exactly what he did?

So fingers crossed they end up with 3 1st rounders. But then again I have no faith with Kotite I mean Sirianni as the coach.

Hurts is not the guy, I think that's evident. He'd need to be ridiculously good the rest of the way. He backpedals wayyy too much when he's under pressure, when he runs to his left he makes big mistakes, and he doesn't make heady plays when you need to - whether it's throwing the ball away or knowing it's fucking 4th down and the end of the game, that's when you dont throw the ball away you moron.

This is good though. We need this kind of beating, this is what we deserve. Probably the same thing all these alkys are saying when they beat their wives tonight in Delco and South Jersey..

Idiot Eagles fans chanting run the ball. Gave up over 40 two weeks in a row but yea losing because we don’t run the ball,

pretty amazing 4 games in and 4 starting linemen out.
  • I still say you should trade Sanders.  As much as he plays a role you should be happy to trade for a 5th round pick that can be used on the next OL up given that none of those guys can stay healthy.

Too early to make this call. I think he played well yesterday despite a depleted o line and bad play calling again. He's basically still a rookie so these kinds of mistakes are bound to happen. Just want to see them happen less and less throughout the year.

Fair. But I think his numbers lie from this game. He did not look good, regardless of a depleted O Line. If we don't make that argument for Wentz or Foles, then we don't for this guy either. I just haven't seen anything - last year or this year - that makes me think he's learning from his mistakes. If he isn't showing progression by double digit weeks I'm ready for Minshewmania the rest of the year. At that point tank and get better draft position.

And beyond that, the amount of penalties/errors/game management, and back to back weeks of 40+ points, just shows really really reeeeeally bad coaching. Not promising overall.
  • Great Colts-Dolphins result yesterday for this 3 high 1st round picks master plan. Sirianni is a great coach for a tanking season. I don't think Hurts is good but he's fun to watch for the time being. It'll be time to figure out the QB situation in February.

I think he was way better this week than the last two for sure. That's a little progress It's only 8 games into his career. At that point in Wentz's first season, I think most were still on board him being the that guy train.

Regarding Sirianni--yeah not a good start! I'm still being patient and want to see progress by the end of the year. That is the benefit of having no expectations going into this season. Trying not to get too high or too low on a week by week basis. Gonna be really tough sledding for the next month or so before they start playing the nfc east and worsen their draft position. Buckle up!

once or twice a year I give you a game I think you take the Eagles in.  That week is this week.  Spread is telling me that this game is a toss up.  I like the Birds to win this week.

If they have another poor performance I think this is one of those really bad seasons. And maybe that's fine - we're looking for big draft picks right?
