He just runs aimlessly. Why he doesn't slow down and turn his body to the ball? Because he sucks, that's why. If he just stopped running, we have pass interference.
Why? Because he lost the ball in the wind !
    Wind!
Yeah, just like he lost the ball in the lights VS Atlanta>LOL

    He's got to go, right?

Wentz is the least of the Eagles problems.
I know. He over ran the ball and had to reach back for it.
The three errant passes just before this last ditched effort don't concern you gents in the least?
Of course they do but there's no guarantee if one of them is completed that we go on to score. The play, once again, was there to be made and Nelson didn't make it.
    Alright, alright, alright!

The way I look at it is Agholar just inst a good receiver right now so I am not expecting him to come down with a catch like that. He could have tracked the ball down better but.....he's not a very good receiver so, at this point, I am not expecting much.

Wentz, on other hand, is supposed to be one of the very best qb's in the league so my expectations for him are higher, thus my disappointment in his performance last week and a lot of this season so far.

So a week ago, a good buddy of mine passed away at the Eagles game. Had a heart attack walking back up to his seat. 42 years old. Left behind a wife and a 4 year old son. Funeral was Friday. Been friends for over 15 years. I tailgated with him for over 10. Life is unfair and real short and doesn’t make much sense sometimes.

Anyway, he was the biggest Birds fan I knew. Hope the Eagles pull this one out for him today.

    Go Birds.

Damn, that is awful to read.  So sorry for all who lost him.  My wife had a similar thing she learned about yesterday, the husband of a friend, 45 years old.
Hope you get the V today!

That’s awful, makes arguing over the quarterback so trivial.  Keep him and his family in your heart.

Wow that's horrible. 42 is way too young. Thoughts with his wife and young child. Just can't imagine. As noted above, makes sports seem so trivial and unimportant by contrast.

Coming into the season I did think they’d lose both these games then run the table. As ridiculous as that seems right now, I can still see it happening. At least the defense looks real good.

I know it’s not an excuse but no way any other team in the league has had to play game without their top 3 corners and or wide receivers. We’ve now played what four like that? Wtf do philly teams always go through so many fucking injuries year after year? What did this city do in a past life that our sports team just can’t hang on to any type of prosperity?  Meanwhile suck ass city Boston just wins and wins. Very frustrating being a philly sports fan year after year
  • PoncierPoncier Posts: 16,953
OK so I know there were only 20 seconds left and the odds of recovering an onside kick and then hitting a hail Mary are microscopic, but again the decision to go for 2 down 17-9 is just baffling.

If you believe the patriots cheated, sure. But how do you account for the Bruins’, Celtics and Red Sox success over the same span as the Pats and the corresponding lack of success of the Sixers, Phillies and Flyers over the same span? Guess they just suck too, right? And snow balls at Santa wasn’t 60 years ago, sports fan fraud.
