Sorry, I was the same yesterday morning. Brought back some memories because my mom was cremated in her Ricky Watters jersey. That kid was a monster for an 8yr old.
    Alright, alright, alright!

A little of the bloom comes off the win over the Panthers after watching the Panthers (on extra rest) lose in superbly poor fashion against a horrid Bears team yesterday.
Hate the Skins, hope Agholor scores 2 long TDs in a rout.
    The NFL makes zero sense.

I lost the darn Survivor Pool on that game.  How could Panthers lose, right?  Long rest....need to get back to winning....Chicago passing game is invisible.
Turns out the way they can lose is to give up 2 pick 6 plays and not score more than a FG.
    Sheeeeeeeeeeeeeiiiiit.

And I hate to keep harping the feelings of a negative Philly fan, but this game has letdown written all over it. But that won't keep me from losing my voice tonight; on my way to drinking 87 beers and being totally unproductive at work tomorrow.

Agreed. They gotta win tonight to solidify their position as a legit contender in my eyes. Panthers looking like poop yesterday did sort of tarnish a great win last week....Birds convincingly beating the Skins will polish that turd right back up though.

    GO BIRDS.

I can’t believe how far Pederson has come as a coach since last year when he was so pass happy.

This year the play calling has been so money he doesn’t even know it....balanced attack game in, game out despite some injuries and BOOM—Wentz is a leading candidate for MVP at this point.

    BIRDS!

Your boy looks great in the slot!

Sucks about Peters and Hicks though. Huge losses.

wow very impressive win last night. like some of you i thought last night had the feeling of a trap game and a decent chance for a loss.  Then to lose your hall of fame left tackle and middle linebacker and still kick ass is awfully impressive. And I don't think the Redskins played all that bad.  The Bids just kicked their ass from the end of the 2nd quarter into the 4th quarter.

I think I said this last week but impressed with how Wentz has improved on this deep throws since the beginning of the season.  Couple of really nice throws last night.

Not a religious man here but please God can Wentz stay healthy for the next oh decade or so?

impressive game from mid 2nd quarter on.
Funniest start to a game I think I have ever witnessed in person when the Eagles took the ball, down 0-3.

    Play #1 - Offensive PI
    Play #2 - Illegal Block
    Play #3 - Offensive Holding
Before Play #4 - 12 men in the huddle
    1st Down and 32 (I think) - Run for 2 yards
    2nd Down and 30 - Bad interception

I thought everyone around me was going to shit their pants.  So damn funny...especially when they called the 12 men in the huddle.  Tears in my eyes I was laughing so hard at the reactions.

Fun time.  Only suckass part was trying to get the fuck out of dodge.  Jesus, you would think with the damn highway right there that they could move people out faster -- especially since 1/3 of the stadium looked to leave well before the end of the game.

Almost an awesome game. Wentz was tremendous but losing JP is killer. Notice that Elliott's first miss cam with JP off the field since he told him no more misses. Hicks just can't stay healthy.

Leaving an Eagles game is a fucking horrid experience. They close roads and the force you to go the opposite way you want to go. Nothing makes sense.

Can't even compare Hicks to JP. Hicks is a nice talent but you can't count on him to be on the field. JP is legend.

Right but that's overall career. This season? I'd say losing Hicks will be more noticeable. At least there is some sort of depth at O-line. There is zero at the LB position. They better run a lot more nickel now, or put more 3-safety sets on the field.
