I think most of were pulling for the Giants at least in that first one they beat Brady. You can do it - you'll be okay.
    Not me.

And, if you will allow me to take this a step further, I am happy that Eli is not a first ballot hall of famer now. He was not that caliber of quarterback. Deserves to get it in at some point, but glad to see him not on that first ballot.

I’m at peace with it. Ended up at 2nd and mifflin for like 10 minutes last night.

No one cares about people’s fantasy, bets, etc. but the most rich part of this whole thing is that I bet on the eagles ML plus some other stuff in order to be cool with them winning and the one that lost it for me was saquon not scoring a TD…

Bold prediction for the game - Cooper DeJean returns a punt for a TD
Do I get at least half credit for predicting a DeJean TD?

And that Td was the end for me.  Once he took that back I knew the game was over,

what an ass kicking.  Damn that was beautiful

Between the ride home last night and this morning I watched all of Phly's post game show....absolute best coverage in the city.

Zach not knowing anything what so ever about the Drake and Kendrick Lamar thing was icing on the cake. Even I knew the something about it lol

Too bad he bobbled that reception near the goal line.

Had a feeling it was over with that Dejean play but I didn't allow myself to fully believe it until the Devonta TD.

I was pissed that Sirianna didn't use either of his two timeouts right before half. Having the ball around their own 40 with 2 timeouts and a minute left would've made getting another field goal there a pretty realistic opportunity.

By the way....how about that TWO TIME SUPER BOWL CHAMPION JAKE ELLIOT?!?!? Still perfect in the post season. He's gonna be a pro-bowler again next year. He's back BABY

Amazing when the wind isn't wreaking havoc on all your FG's.

After the Devonta TD I was doing math trying to figure out how the Chiefs could come back. I had watched the Atlanta-New England SB video earlier in the day so it was fresh in my mind. Of course Atlanta is just eternally pathetic, so there's that.

Know who I was surprised that played good? Jake Elliot. He had like 4 field goals and didn't miss a PAT (least I think he didn't miss any kicks). Once again fucking awesome game.

Doubt I'll be going to the parade, but will be there in spirit. Wonder if this will surpass the Phillies '08 parade or the Eagles '17-'18 parade (although I think that was less than the Phillies one)? Last night seemed like it was a parade in the streets of Philadelphia

Jake was 4/4 on FG's and 4/4 on extra points and made a couple others that were nullified by penalties. And all the FG's were pretty long - 40+.

So….is there any order of euphoria you guys would feel for a super bowl (done), world series (possible but not likely) or NBA championship (not happening)?

I ask because before my Giants won a WS, I always said I’d trade all five of my cowboys’ SB’s for one WS.

Anyone else share some concern that Spags will come up with a way to neutralize the tush push a little? Was listening to that Ben Solak kid talk about that with Sheil.

I'm not overly concerned, but I've always thought Spags was a really solid defensive mind, plus he's now faced us a few times and was able to stop the Bills version a couple weeks ago. Think it's something to consider.

    Confidence levels....still soaring....
This isn't my concern. My concern is Jalen's total weakness when he doesn't recognize a blitz, especially a masked one. He really hasn't handled those well and that's when his CTE brain short circuits and he makes some really dumb mistakes. And that's Spags' wheelhouse.

Still feel good overall, but that's my #1 concern.
this. the blitz and Elliott are my only two concerns.

That said, this Eagles' D is much better equipped to handle KC than 2 years ago.
    Yep.
    Complete ass kicking.
Said to the guys I was with early on that it was reminding me of Superb Owl 55 when Tampa's D had Mahomes running for his life all night. Ended up even more dominating.

Congrats guys. I can actually enjoy watching you folks celebrate your win this time.
    This weekend we rock Portland

What time are they thinking for parade start? 10,11? My first picture from the last one was 10:26 am. Probably not going to schlep over to the art museum this time and just walk up to Broad.

Mahomes was at least throwing strikes against Tampa, his receivers let him down.  This game he was completely fucked up mentally.  The Eagles had him rattled.
I wish I was a sacrifice, but somehow still lived on.

I told him to say "World Champions" then we have 5 of them. I hate when people throw away the old teams. These guys won the war and came back and won championships! Anyways...

When did "Go Birds' become the Philly cultural phrase/greeting/salutation that it is today? I feel like it's a fairly recent thing (5-10 years), at least at the scale it's used today?  When I moved here it was ALL that god forsaken chant, but this has very much taken over that

I think it's like how jawn has seen a resurgence. Both have been around forever but definitely have seen in an up ticket in the last 10ish years I'd say.

So yeah, I'm not going crazy.  Like the School District email about Friday says "Go Birds".

Jawn got the Creed bump too...though have never been a fan.

Used to say jawn more as a kid. The problem is all the transplant hipster doofuses started wedging it into every goddamn thing.

Also, we can continue to spell the name of the team if that makes you happy.
