Cool! Show specific. I would love to get in the poster line early and maybe score a band-signed one, but who wants to hold on to a poster in GA for the entire show? Been there, done that, it sucks balls :D

The signed posters are randomly inserted into the stack. Getting there early will not help you get a signed one. I bought mine about 7:30 and the girl in front of me got one.

Yea... holding the poster in GA sucks. They do not have tubes, but they have like a plastic sleeve thingamabob that seals.
Yes, but if there aren't a lot of people there I could give them a big smile and ask if they would mind terribly looking to see if they see a band signed one in the stack for me

It's OK, I think I'm over my poster disease. Or it's currently dormant. I hung on to those giant poster tubes in Europe at 2 shows, no fun for me and people around me.

pretty cool, who is the artist?

I'm debating about bringing a tube to the Milwaukee show, but I have a feeling that they won't let me bring it in.
I don't mind holding the tube, at least I can enjoy the show and not worry about a crushed poster. It's that or hope it doesn't sell out and buy it before I leave.

Anyone know of any places to park near the Orpheum? Free? How late does the T run? I'm coming from Maine tomorrow afternoon and returning after the show.
  • 1) quick review of DC....wow!

(More later, but am running out)

    2) no opening act. SG on stage at 8:20 last night

    3) I have a pic of the poster, I can add a pic later. Cool they were signed and numbered.
At what time did they finish? Around 10:30 PM or so?

DC and Philly folks, what time does it say on your tickets? Looks like the band went on around 8:20 or so each night? Curious because at the NYC Terminal 5 show they also went on at 8:20, but tickets were very clear that doors opened at 7:00, show starts at 8:00.

For the NYC Hammerstein shows, it only says 8:00, not sure if that's doors or start time.

    Thanks!! :mrgreen::mrgreen:

Awesome! Wow, they don't mess around! I'll assume it will be the same for Hammerstein then. I will be freezing my ass off outside for a few hours, hoping I can get the rail this time. I've been oh so close the last few times, was 2nd row on Wednesday without even trying. If only I'd shown up like 15 minutes earlier I would have been on the rail.

They definitely sound better than when I saw them in 2011. It's like they are getting better and better each time. Chris' voice is unbelievable right now. Amazing that he managed to get that back. I saw him with Audioslave maybe in 2003? It was nowhere near what it is now.

yeah, I don't know what happened during Audioslave that his voice went to hell. I was glad when I saw him solo a few years ago that it was getting better, and the new album and tour sound great!

For anybody that gets a CC pick on this tour...I hope its a personal-logo'd pick...I got 3 of the 4 he threw out at the Tower and they're just generic silver, grip-textured...was hoping for something special like our boys usually play with on tour...(spoiled, I know)

but I got 3rd row in the Pit at the Tower and couldn't have been happier with the show, it was SICK!!
I met my wife here...you can too! Don't lose hope!

All I can say is big thanks to girl who went to the Patriots game and sold me her row OO orchestra left seats for face.

Great setlist! Cornell sounded superb and had mad range. Matt is allowed to SHINE and he was killing it. Kim was about 10 feet away and he still got it though he is starting to seriously resemble Tommy Chong ;) A solid show

The poster was eh. Grey and black 2 color that sorto resembled the tour poster with different colors.

From what I've heard in the past, CC doesn't have any custom design or anything on his picks. Wondering if the picks he's signing for charity will be different as they say they'll have the SG logo on them.

Omigod amazing yet again at Hammerstein tonight. On the rail, Kim's side! Woo hoo! Which one of you was the dude with the outshined sign? Please tell me you're on here. Jaime? Jeremy?

So Chris really likes the signs, can someone please bring a MATT FUCKING CAMERON sign to the next show? That's my only regret not bringing a sign for Matt. Don't wave it around all show obviously but it would be cool to see Matt smile widely at that. And Chris would love it for sure.

Ok back to outshined. So Chris starts reading a sign, and it says, "Can I play guitar on Outshined" and Chris was like here? Are you good? The guy totally sold it so Chris goes, "Come on up" and he did. On the stage for the entire song. Awesomeness.

That's great. Even though I felt like a huge dork, I'm glad I took the sign last November to wish Matt a happy birthday after he saw it and acknowledged it. Won't be in the pit this time when they play the Wiltern but from what I saw at the Fonda and the reviews I've seen thus far of the current tour, I'm sure I'll be in for another stellar show.
