advice on what time to get there?
We'll see any/all of y'all there tonight!
We go in line at 6:30 and were pretty deep (at least that was what it felt like). Doors opened at ~7. Took about 10 minutes to get inside and walked right up to the front. It floored me that we were able to get as close as we did.intodeep wrote:Man i totally agree. I feel like he is unleashed in soundgarden. Not trying to start an argument just how i feel too.
I was around some pearl jam fans on the floor and we were having fun. I wonder if they were one of you
Well, I would say that I was the "one wearing the black PJ20 tour shirt," but I saw a lot of those floating around last night so that wouldn't help.We are the facilitators of our own creative evolution.--Bill Hicks0 -
I'm proud to say I was sporting my PJ20 shirt.
All I have to say... Jesus Christ Pose
Oh and Cameron said don't count on a PJ tour until October."Then the Spirit of God hovered over the water, and God said, Let there be music, and there was Pearl Jam."
Whose idea was it for the word "Lisp" to have an "S" in it?0 -
Here's Atlanta night 2:
Spoonman
Jesus Christ Pose
By Crooked Steps
Room A Thousand Years Wide
Taree
Superunknown
Fresh Tendrils
The Day I Tried To Live
Been Away Too Long
My Wave
Worse Dreams
Mailman
Loud Love
Fell On Black Days
Blow Up The Outside World
Ugly Truth
Hunted Down
Ty Cobb
4th Of July
Non-State Actor
Eyelid's Mouth
Outshined
Beyond The Wheel
"Blood" was on the setlist after Eyelid's Mouth. I would assume that's Blood On The Valley Floor and not a PJ cover. Either way they didn't play it.Post edited by Sheets Of Clay on0 -

Both of those shows in Atlanta look like they were awesome...got a mind full of questions and a teacher in my soul...0

Holy Crap! That is a ton of "Superunknown." I will say that while I hate missing out on JCP and 4th I still like the setlist from Night 1. Getting "Nothing to Say," "Hands All Over," Gun," and Flower" in the same set was nothing short of a surprise. We are the facilitators of our own creative evolution.--Bill Hicks0

They both were awesome. Loud Love, Ty Cobb, 4th of July, Outshined and Beyond the Wheel were the highlights of night 2 for me, though after 21 years of waiting I loved every second of both shows. How anybody could hear Beyond the Wheel in concert and not agree that SG is as good as it gets, when you're talking classic rock bands, is beyond me. Thanks SG!0 -
I just think it's the bomb that a couple years ago, I thought I would NEVER get to see SG, and here I am with 2 shows under my belt. And the fact those shows were unbelievable--to stay they still got it is a vast understatement! I love these guys, so happy they got back together."Sometimes you find yourself having to put all your faith in no faith."

Couldn't agree more. Seeing them live again has definitely renewed my love for this band.We are the facilitators of our own creative evolution.--Bill Hicks0 -
Louisville tonight!0
-
Anybody need any last-minute tickets for Louisville tonight? Orchestra level, row MM; face value ($74 each=$59.50+$14.50 LN/TM fees) = $148 for the pair. If interested, PM me by about 5pm Eastern today (when I will be leaving work and my computer to head out toward the show).
NOT trying to scalp, NOT jacking up the price, just wound up with an extra pair of tickets I can't use, and hoping to keep a fellow fan from getting gouged on the sidewalk before showtime.0 -
