balcony 2 by brett whiteley. whiteley is my fave artist. this is my fave painting of his. he died in 1992 and his studio was opened to the public. not only is it where he worked but it is where he lived in the last years of his life. its my fave place in all of sydney. i go there often.




heres a link to some sneaky pics i took in his studio. photography is prohibited but i cant help myself.whiteley was so prolific that works of his still keep popping up that i was previously unaware of. its kinda like hes not dead.

Here's a painting by Claude Monet called "The Studio Boat."
I tend to like pictures with reflections in water!
