True Romance will be shown on 35 atleast"Mostly I think that people react sensitively because they know you’ve got a point"0 -
Movies of 2019, number 18: Doctor Sleep. Boring as a Stephen King miniseries from the 90s. Referencing the past as heavyhanded as a popculture t-shirt. All looking like an ugly instagram filter.

Quiet Place 2 was filmed all around my hometown.
The bridges at 2:00 are the bridges to the Island I live on. They closed down bridges overnight, all the actors and Krasinsky stayed in the parking lot of my old elementary school and people put signs for them across the street in their front yards and stuff. We have an annual kayak trip around the Island and it happened to be early in the morning, and it was bizarre/eerie to see all the "broken down", dusty cars all over the bridge.

But yeah lot of good ones. I have a few friends who host "First Friday Fright night in Phoenixville, PA. They show some good classic ones like Popcorn, Pumpkinhead, Poltergeist, The Warriors, Nightmare on Elm Street 3 & 4, Vampire Circus, From Dusk Til Dawn, My Bloody Valentine, Silent Night Deadly Night. This past month was Halloween IIIan d next month, Nov. 2 is Return Of The Living Dead (which I don't believe I've seen).
This January is not really a horror film per say, well I guess it can be considered one. Anyway they are showing both Grindhouse movies in their entirity.
February is Candyman (which I don't believe I have seen  )
Tonight they played Candyman in 35mm print  Pretty decent. Couple "jumping" scenes. Actually the one girl behind me jumped like 10 timesThe urban legend was kinda cool, and his gimmick was ok.
remake coming out this summer

I’m a fan of the original Candyman. The original Clive Barker story is even better. You see me empty, Sir, do not pause and inquire, simply assume and refill.

It's Robert Englund's birthday, so I'm thinking about renting this one. Anyone seen it. Worth a watch?
