The Devil's Rejects is one i can watch over and over again,Roskilde 1992

Well I watched the Green Inferno, and it's okay. But then I watched the movie that inspired it, Cannibal Holocaust.HesCalledDyer said:
I enjoyed it. And yes it definitely made ya think. Quite a few scenes transported me right into the characters' positions and had me thinking "what would I do?"Thirty Bills Unpaid said:Has anyone seen The Green Inferno?
Not rated very high... very gory... but still held my attention. Made ya think (or imagine anyways).
This may or may not be obvious, but this film was Eli Roth's homage to the infamous Cannibal Holocaust, of which he is a huge fan. That is a pretty fucked up movie. It is clear that they actually tortured and killed real animals for this film, which I obviously strongly object to, and I didn't enjoy watching it at all. They mutilate a live turtle, slice open the skull of a live monkey... and it doesn't stop there. No wonder this awful movie suffered censorship. I'm surprised it was even legal.

Where can I get a hold of this gem?I guess it's kind of the point behind these kinds of horror movies (or whatever you call Cannibal Holocaust... I'm not sure what that is). There is a "just how sick and twisted can I make this thing??" factor that I think holds artistic and creative merit. That's also why I watched the fucking Human Centipede trilogy... which, if you haven't seen it, is WAY more sick and demented and disturbing than Cannibal Holocaust IMO. But it doesn't torture animals in it, so it has that going for it, lol.
I think Cannibal Holocaust certainly had some good points. Is it the first found footage horror movie ever perhaps? If not, I'm not sure which movie is. Either way, the found footage genre was handled in a unique way for this movie, and really worked into a bigger plot. The premise is interesting... albeit a little racist, lol. Some of the tribes people are portrayed a little more like monkeys than people. Then again, some of the white people are portrayed as insane psychopathic monsters, so I guess it evens out, lol.
(HesCalledDyer mentioned iTunes. Good option. I used the Kodi app myself. Google it.)

Try being an Angels fan this season.darwinstheory said:The last one I saw that I really liked was the train wreck that has been the Chicago White Sox 2016 season.
Sorry, couldn't resist.Scioscia should have been fired a handful of years ago and Arte needs to sell the team. On the bright side, the Yanks are eliminated and Detroit is still my team's bitch in the Trout era.
Just saw Slither on HBO Now a few days ago. Good homage to the 1986 classic, Night Of The Creeps.Post edited by InHiding80 on0 -
