    35 years? Godamn.
Was filmed the prior fall just 20 minutes from where I was living at the time. I was 3.
    http://www.fridaythe13thfranchise.com/2015/05/happy-35th-anniversary-friday-13th.html

3-5 were filmed in my SoCal area I've lived since birth. Part 5 was filmed not too far away from where my estranged aunt lived at the time in Oxnard which is not too far away from Camarillo where it was filmed. They even filmed parts of that final underwater sequence in part 6 at the swimming pool of UCLA and two additional kills in Griffith Park.

So i finally saw Texas Chainsaw Massacre (the original) last night. Overall i enjoyed it. One part i kinda jumped when Leatherface came out of the trees and cut up the one dude in the wheelchair. Only thing that was kinda annoying for me was the girl at the end, Sally, would not stop screaming. I know it's a horror flick and girls are suppose to scream and all, but hers was getting on my nerves and I was hoping they were gonna kill her (although I had a feeling she was gonna escape).

The most recent remake is actually pretty good. I was somewhat impressed (in Texas chainsaw massacre terms, anyway).

A bunch of shorts rolled into one movie is a great format for the horror genre (like Creepshow).

Watching The Changeling (1980) right now. My favorite horror ever. I had to take a break because I was getting too scared, lol.
(The full movie is on youtube, FYI)
