    parts of the AC and OC boardwalks washed away...people stuck in OC now that the bridge is washed out. Most of my co-workers and students have been evacuated from their homes :( For once I am thankful to have a long commute.

    I hope so, but it hasn't even got to the good stuff yet...low tide right now. hopefully it'll hold out thru the next high tide...that'll be the test

    just heard on weather channel that the hurricane will make landfall in next 3-4 hours on the Jersey Shore.

    yes pictures from shores look crazy already. JFK is about 2 or 3 blocks from the beach too isn't it? nuts. stay safe all.
