    Your post got me thinking about something. Why exactly is it wrong to use the word retard to insult someone but using the term moron, which in the past was a medical term also used to describe someone with developmental disabilities, is acceptable? If both words denote the same thing shouldn't both be considered offensive?

    For that matter why is it ok to use the word crazy to insult people. Isn't that insulting to people psychiatric disorders?
